The Presidency of Donald J. Trump: No smocking guns. The Presidency of Donald J. Trump: No smocking guns.

Trump cares about ratings. He still talks about The Apprentice's ratings with him v Arnold.

But Trump is a narcissist and definitely doesn't care

Fair enough, I'm sure some billionaires do care, but it isn't just Trump who doesn't care.

It's kinda like James Harden out partying at a club dancing the night away after they got axed in the playoffs by the Spurs. Why would he care about not advancing when he's making multi-millions? I sure as heck wouldn't.

Lot of these rich dudes set up foundations pretending to care, and its just a way to launder money to pay a lot less in taxes. Zuckerberg comes to mind for me on that one.

Zuckerberg is giving away 99% of his Facebook shares for philanthropy

Way to avoid taxes? Lol at giving $45B+ to charitable causes in order to avoid the taxes on that money

Yeah, so it is more about getting off on social engineering the masses than being a humanitarian.

Yeah...philanthropy/charities AKA money laundering.

If you think Zuckerberg is legitimately giving away 99% of his Facebook shares away.... I have 10k cash to give you in person, you just have to dump 10k into my Stars account first, that is low on funds at the moment.

I'm amazed that these "pollster" con artists are still getting hired/paid. Trump conclusively proved that they are completely useless. Broke all their rules and got the throne.

Buffett and Gates are giving away $150 billion. LOL hastendan 3.0. Some rich people are also good people.

Goes to a charity he has an ownership stake in obviously.

Is this a parody post? I'm confused.

How are pollsters con artists?
05-12-2017 , 07:07 PM
Just an opinion because I'm kind of illiterate on the topic, but it would seem hard to get accurate polling when your elections are being ****ed with and you don't know what's happening.

Is Trump the only Russian interference denier left in government? Everybody else in GOP or the WH just avoids the issue completely.

Am I the only one that took Trump's 'tapes' tweet differently?

I figure he saw the articles out there claiming there are tapes of Trump similar to the Nixon tapes, and was tweeting threats at Comey in response to hypothetical recording of Trump by the FBI/Comey.

This is a terrible take.

i thought that at first for a few hours then i started to see what people thought the tweet meant.

THen I realized yeah those people are right, its a lot more likely of some kind of blackmail by Trump than him saying "you better not have tapes!"
05-12-2017 , 07:20 PM
Witness tampering, blackmail, possible treason, sexual assault, theft of services, fraud, probable tax evasion, bribery, possible human trafficking, putting ketchup on steak

Gotta be some other crimes Trump committed that I'm missing.

That's how I first understood it as well, but lurking this forum I started doubting my interpretation.

I was watching the original "The Manchurian Candidate" the other day and had forgotten the scene where presidential candidate Iselin is pouring ketchup on his steak. That character is very Trump.

regarding a possible tape, one thing to keep in mind that i read about recently ... technology is getting close to being able to produce somone talking and it being virtually impossible to tell the real person talking and the technology having the person say the say thing.

edit: above might sound confusing. basically technology is getting close where an audio tape can be produced with you saying anything. and the quality will be so good you won't be able to deny you said it w/out ppl thinking you're lying.

It would probably be a lot better for the country if it was the minority party that somehow had the ability to initiate impeachment proceedings. Something akin to a vote of no confidence in a parliament.

I was going to quote post of Trumps crimes and amend to "putting ketchup on WELL DONE steak". But I realized that even though well done steak is a crime, its also a plea in mitigation for the ketchup. I mean the steak is ruined, pour whatever you like on it.
