Of course, releasing them is way more likely to make Trump look bad than Comey especially if those tapes include the discussion of top secret information. I mean willfully divulging top secret information is a prosecutable offense.
If one were aggressive that tweet is likely a prosecutable or impeachable offense.

I read that it was because they were informed that Trump was not likely to be well received.

I wonder how pissed off people are going to be after Democrats get "crushed" in 2018 "elections." That will probably determine the fate of our country as a democracy or dictatorship.

So to flip it into positive news, he used the same pic to both troll them back with Ukraine, and to make himself look like the amazing negotiating peacemaker that he isn't.

It should be noted that Trump's SOP always hits back 2-10 times harder when counterpunching. Russia gets a love tap instead. More SOP I guess.
Bingo. Only half smart thing he's done in a week.

I saw that one too afterwards. As usual, the WH can't decide what reason to give.

That upcoming election in GA on June 20th will be telling. There's no way Ossoff should lose unless shenanigans take place.

Handel got 19.8% of the vote. If she wins, something is up.

Jeff Sessions Getting Rich Filling Private Prisons

Look, jeff sessions is a scumbag, but thats a bad article if they are just using mutual funds holdings to show that he has financial incentive to lock people up based on that ,, half the USA has mutual funds , and Vanguard is the one the big mutual fund families, so him owning 30k of an issue that is probably 1% invested in a prison for profit company is miniscule,, now if he was accepting kickbacks through other avenues , then yes, but this article is misleading.

Last poll I saw showed him up by only 1 point, he could easily lose. She will get most of the GOP votes that were spread between her and her GOP opponents.

YUGE.

And now that Trump is hands on daily controlling the content of Fox for 40% of the population, they have become detached from reality - just like him.

Just before, the Fox headline for the threatening tweet was "Trump warns Comey over leaks" and that's much more accurate than most.

There was a much stronger case against Tom Price and we saw where that went

Obama was joking about Cruz having been at the basketball court and called the hoop a basketball "ring". lol

Yea I know it's close.

Trump becoming more and more unhinged has to hurt her chances though I would think. That election is in 6 weeks. In addition, Handel is running on repealing Obamacare. Hopefully, the CBO will show how bad the AHCA is. That should be enough I would hope.

A major law firm that won an award for being the Russian Law Firm of the year in 2016.

I don't consider it fake news. It's just another of a thousand pieces where everyone in Trump's orbit has abnormal connections to Russia. There are thousands of large multi-national law firms. Most have never won an award as Russian Law Firm of the Year.

All these connections to Russia are way above any reasonable expectation just from normal people doing normal things in a global marketplace. The frequency of Russian ties are magnitudes more common and this is certainly just another one of those things. This particular issue indicates the Law Firm has strong resources and connections in Russia. If this were the only Russian connection for trump, his circle or campaign it would mean nothing. If it is the one thousandth connection to Russia it is of some import.

Also for all the talk of the letter being "certified" I don't see a notary stamp on there, it's not a sworn affidavit, it's just a letter. There's no consequence to anyone for the contents of that letter being a lie.

Typical con artist showmanship.

Speaking of...Spicey is back today. Let's wish him luck.

Comey is pushing back on the Trump threat. CNN just said he's not worried about any tapes they want to bring out because he said nothing wrong. The dinner was on January 27th at Trump's request, not Comey's. Also, the idea that Comey wanted to discuss staying on as FBI head is false.

During the Republican debate in 2012 they asked the whole panel if they knew what event was going on that night. I believe one or two of them knew it was the ncaa football national championship game (which shows you something they would even schedule the debate during that). Romney's quote was something like "That's football! I love it!"

During halftime of the 2007 Superbowl they asked McCain and Obama what they'd do about college sports. McCain blathered something about steroids. Obama said it's time for a playoff.

Republicans are basically the French Aristocracy putting on mom jeans trying to sell themselves as salt of the earth. But so out of touch it's screamingly obvious. Give Trump credit - he just rolls with his ridiculous gold-plated self.
