no tipping point is possible for the ideas tho. trump may fall due to something embarrassing but the republican party will continue to rule and will continue to exploit.

the brainwashing propaganda from state-run fox news will ensure that the masses continue their hatred of liberty, equality, and human rights so that there is enough support for republicans to continue to rig elections.

and yes, an n-word tap absolutely will increase his popularity.

Peace = give up half your country and hope the Russians don't take the rest in the near future.

JFC - even promoting this as "let's look for peace" is a MASSIVE overton window shift from "Hey Russia, you invaded Ukraine, this is unacceptable". Ugh.

Hey, they were super pissed when they found out that guy was a press photographer, they just thought he was an official photographer for Lavrov.

That tweet with the pictures is definitely some kind of plan to have Russia and Ukraine "make up" so that sanctions on Russia can be eased.

that definitely was weird. but that tweet is supposed to represent trump moderating a peace deal between russia and ukraine which, even if he's not actually doing anything about it, is normal for a us president to try to do.

he has tweeted way crazier **** than that TODAY

I wouldn't do 99% of what he does. The explanation for this tweet is simple though. He didn't like the Russians trolling him over the pic on the left (and others) that he was "tricked" into posing for, in the public. So to flip it into positive news, he used the same pic to both troll them back with Ukraine, and to make himself look like the amazing negotiating peacemaker that he isn't.

It should be noted that Trump's SOP always hits back 2-10 times harder when counterpunching. Russia gets a love tap instead. More SOP I guess.

I think the Russian tweet is more about Trump showing his base that the Dems are so against him that even the Russians support Trump. Everything always leads back to Trump saying

Me:Good
Dems:Bad

And they keep buying in to it. Up and down the line. That's the scariest part. To Trumpkins and those along for the ride, he's more infallible than the Pope.

Trump may have been right that in the end he'd be thanked for firing Comey.

I wonder why Trump changed. He was democrat up til Barry took office. Hell, he was friends with the Clintons and now he's saying "Throw her in jail." He's just unhinged.

I'm glad he defected. Would you want him still in the Democratic Party?

It was obvious during the campaign that he was "unfit" for office. Now we're seeing what "unfit" really means. While the exact events may not have been that predictable, the overall ****show can't be a surprise to many of us.

It's hard to overstate how ****ed this is.
It's even more ****ed than that. I thought Sessions was just pushing a racist agenda undoing more Obama regs on private prisons and longer sentences and suppressing Dem votes. Nah, he also owns stock in those prisons and is profiting from the people he is jailing! God this is so unnerving.

If Trump is recording in-person conversations, why not phone calls too? Ianal but quick google says some states require consent of all parties, Florida for example. In DC, I seem to remember Linda Trip getting into trouble for recording her phone conversations with Monica Lewinsky.

Eta more google shows Tripp got in trouble with the state of Maryland, which requires all-parties consent.
