the gop brand ultimately revolves around a universal hatred for obama; therefore, as long as any gop politician periodically and publicly shows the base they are attempting to undo president obama's accomplishments, the gop brand will thrive.

for trump, so long as he appears to be dismantling the "liberal agenda," the base will support him even as he takes away their healthcare, destroys their public education system, depresses their wages, transfers their tax dollars to the 1%, and allows giant corporations to pollute their neighborhoods.

Simply the name Sarah Huckabee Sanders is an interesting clash between "it's important everyone know my dad was someone important" and "my faith and political party demand that I take my husband's name like a good subservient wife".

(notably Abby Huntsman did not do the latter)

Sarah Huckabee-Huckabee last night tells Fox "When will people move on from the Russia investigation? It's been long enough. There's no there there."

Then at today's WH briefing, "We need to see this Russia investigation all the way through to clear the President's good name."

Daddy (Trump, not Mike) fixed her "mistake" overnight. Unfortunately, reporters didn't have a good chance to call her on it.
