I'm all for that, when we have power. I think it's a shame Democrats didn't do anything along these lines from 2008-2010.

But until we have power, 2020 at the earliest probably, we need to do everything we can to slow it down because 18 and 20 are huge elections with regard to drawing districts for the ensuing 10 years.

yeah the one who recused himself from russian investigations "told" the president to fire the guy investigating on russia
05-09-2017 , 06:03 PM
The supposed rationale for the firing is in the Deputy AG Rosenstein's letter

Is it a sign of panic over the Russia investigation?
05-09-2017 , 06:07 PM
That Rosenstein letter seems pretty solid.

1973 Nixon... Sessions is a crazy man.
05-09-2017 , 06:13 PM
Since when did Trump care about procedural irregularities?

Since the FBI started investigating him and his rotten crew I guess.

Just skimmed it, but it seems remarkably similar to the critique offered by everyone other than Trump supporters during the electiom, which uh... good, I guess? I have to imagine it's just theater, though, otherwise why did they wait?

this is the 2017 version of Nixon claiming, "I am not a crook."

Everyone read Trump's completely gratuitous "I greatly appreciate you informing me, on three separate occasions, that I am not under investigation," in Comey's termination letter? Cowardly heart, straight up shook one.

Lots of Nixon comparisons. Can anyone recommend a good book that details watergate?
