He's still got his hands into all sorts of foreign and domestic deals. He's still looking for areas of "waste, fraud and abuse" to exploit from government programs. And he's still tying up government resources in his own personal vendettas and conspiracies.

One couldn't write a better crime drama series. This is pure gold.
And he still has literally hundreds of positions to fill

At some point the media has to start reporting on it as intentional

Bob needs to pull himself up by his bootstraps and stop expecting the government to provide him food (Obamafood, if you will).

The Rock would destroy Trump. Trump would be incapable of attacking or being negative about The Rock.

My final point on eol and expensive healthcare. It is so far down the road in terms of what is important to overhauling healthcare it is essentially a non issue and will be for a very very very long time.

Let's get single payer, let's do massive cost reform and then after those decades are over we can address issues like end of life and terminal illness issues. The good thing is there is zero chance we go bankrupt because of those things in the meantime.

Your criticism of Obama is that he likes to help the needy? Surprised the next sentence isn't about how Jesus preaches the Truth.

Couldn't the FBI end this entire cat & mouse game just by questioning Trump? He would, without the slightest bit of doubt, rack up perjury charges like nobody before and will implicate every single guilty person in his RICO administration enterprise.

Totally serious. Is there any way to blow the investigation this way? FBI doesn't even need to be clever, and there are all kinds of collateral benefits like saving resources etc.

I don't know if the FBI could question Trump, no?

Can't he claim executive privilege?

I heard a despicable comment this morning from the same IRL Trumpkin I talked about in the Obamacare thread. The only (and I mean ONLY) good thing was him admitting that Trump does some bad things.

He said, "Can't do anything about it. Trump being President is like rape. You just have to let it happen, even if it hurts." Two women were present for this conversation.

Naturally, I stuck up for them and mentioned how rape and assault and harassment are under attack with Trump & GOP running the country, and touched on men controlling Trumpcare and the defense of BillO & Fox.

He went on to complain how O'Reilly was targeted like so many other rich and famous men often are. When I asked for all the examples he surely had, he said "Lots. Like that old black comedian." I idiotically pressed on by saying how much evidence there is and how Trump defends all the anti-woman discrimination in the US.

"It doesn't take much more than a woman crying harassment for the courts to find innocent men guilty. It happens to famous people every day. They have millions of dollars, and can pay for all the sex they wanted. They don't need to rape or harass anybody."

The best part...

After that mess, I told him that he doesn't understand the human condition much if he thinks rape is about sex and not power. His response: "I'm 9 years older than you and I know a lot more. You're disrespectful to correct me."

I'm starting to agree with the poster who told me a few weeks ago how he avoids real life discussions like the plague.

A Republican congress like those guys yesterday with the unclassified leaks and whatabouthillaryemails? Not fair.

Laughing @ POTUS though on the other hand...

Keep having these conversations, but be firm about what it means for someone to support Trump and be willing to back your words up bigly. We have to use our already entrenched social connections as well as establish new social connections to spread the word that Republicans are all racist, fascist, liars who don't care if we all die in the streets.

So the Post reporting Comey misspoke/lied in his testimony regarding key evidence related to Clinton emails in the hearings.

Cool cool

When a black person is shot by a cop in a situation where a white person would not have been, it is probable that he did it because he was not feeling as bad about taking the life of a black person as compared to a white one. But it is unlikely that he thought black lives don't matter at all. There are lots of people who consciously or unconsciously think a black person''s life is not worth what a white person's life is worth. But few who think it is worthless.

I am not suggesting that the slogan be changed. I only suggest that when discussing the slogan advocates not only agree that white lives matter but also point out that they aren't really accusing cops and others of not caring at all about their lives but rather that they don't care equally.
Ban for trolling imo

Tell him he's not nine years older, just nine years old.

We can neither treat these people as rambling lunatics on the street corner nor as adults. They needed to be scolded like the petulant children that they are.

I try. This particular guy is puzzling though. He's your standard Trumpeter in many ways; racist, sexist, xenophobic, selfish, stubborn, never wrong, and uninformed on a variety of subjects. But he's also a poor, anti-religion atheistic Bill Mahr fan who's internet savvy. It's made for some strange, inconsistent conversations to say the least. Especially since he's a broken English speaking Russian (not a bot).

Can't scold someone who will get into a physical altercation at the drop of a hat. I've seen him yell at people for very little and come close to blows several times.

Don't engage deplorables, it's hopeless. Way better ROI trying to convince indifferents who aren't already gone.

Yeah not one on one, his comments were made in front of other people. Him saying "respect your elders" and you immediately shutting up afterward isn't really a good look.

Yeah the right move in this situation was obviously to rape the guy.

Calm ridicule is the best response to people like this.

You can't argue facts with this kind of BS. I'd say something like "I disagree. I think if you witness a rape that you should attempt to stop it."
