God help us if he does. I can see what you're saying now, after 105 days. Trust me, the effect after 4 full years will be beyond repair. He's only going to get worse as the end nears.

"I didn't listen." Jesus, lady.

It already seems to be kinda 'out' what she is going to say, she'll say that she warned the WH about Flynn and make Pence look like crap, or if we're lucky, like a full on liar

Speculation seems to be that anything more than that would be classified

I think Kirby is right

All Republicans have to do to continue winning long-term is continue to successfully dismantle our election system. If they can suppress enough votes in 2018 and 2020 and if we don't beat them with great force, they can turn the next ten years into a living hell by controlling the redistricting process in 2020. Don't get complacent.

Heeeeere come the judges. Trump expected to nominate a group of federal judges possibly as early as tomorrow, regular slates of noninees to continue, perhaps monthly. Without the filibuster, I'd think they could get most of them through at a pretty brisk pace, yes?

From 60 minutes interview:
"He (Trump) said:'We're going to make our economy better' and I did like that idea."

That is indeed a revolutionary idea. I can see how that kind of out of the box thinking appeals to the sophiscated voter.

Standard populist campaign BS from Trump. "[It's] gonna be great. So easy." Until it's time to do whatever thing he was talking about.

Hillary should have said she was going to make it more better.

If we can somehow prove Trump became POTUS illegitimately, how much is reversible? Supreme Court? Appointed officials (who don't also go down)? Monies earned? Bills passed? Anything??

there's way too many people wanting something that just isn't gonna happen or didn't.

That said, she should force these people to acknowledge the Flynn stuff instead of just ignoring it--who they'll promptly throw under the bus, that's something at least. If people are expecting or wanting more they're pretty dumb.

Also, she'll get painted as an obama appointee trying to bring down trump, so it won't matter at all to trump supporters.

Only the money he's gotten has any chance.

Sounds like a compelling argument for nationalizing the whole enterprise.

I don't think it is highly likely that Trump runs in 2020.
05-08-2017 , 12:03 AM
what happens with the money hes been getting for the 2020 campaign if he doesnt?

Haha not sure, though when there is a will there is a way I reckon.

Phillip Morris put in charge of cancer research

Quote:
The Environmental Protection Agency has dismissed at least five members of a major scientific review board, the latest signal of what critics call a campaign by the Trump administration to shrink the agency’s regulatory reach by reducing the role of academic research.

A spokesman for the E.P.A. administrator, Scott Pruitt, said he would consider replacing the academic scientists with representatives from industries whose pollution the agency is supposed to regulate, as part of the wide net it plans to cast. “The administrator believes we should have people on this board who understand the impact of regulations on the regulated community,” said the spokesman, J. P. Freire.

The dismissals on Friday came about six weeks after the House passed a bill aimed at changing the composition of another E.P.A. scientific review board to include more representation from the corporate world.

Welcome to Trump's America, where fox in charge of the hen house is a recurring theme.

My wife and I had our own ecig company for 5 years. Something like this is a nightmare to deal with. The **** big tobacco and big pharma pulled was incredible.

To be fair they only have sessions every other year. It's not a horrible foundation for a better government but it was absolutely corrupted and as horrible as any other.
