The Presidency of Donald J. Trump: No smocking guns. The Presidency of Donald J. Trump: No smocking guns.

support for the GOP is nothing more than a religion. Trump and the GOP work in mysterious ways. Never a reason to stop supporting them, no matter how many times they rob you blind!

I think this is probably correct, but two things:

1. Measures like GDP might not be the best way to show success.

2. China and the USSR had particular problems that weren't just about socialism. Have any socialist countries not been subject to sanctions or embargoes?

So, perhaps there isn't much empirical evidence regarding socialism, though there certainly is for mixed economies from Scandinavia on one side all the way to I guess Singapore on the other.

The exact same question asked when Obamacare was passed.

Good news about the new bill - cases of rape/sexual assaults/domestic violence should drop drastically!

They now come under “pre-existing conditions”, so no one will want to report them.

And that's one of the better features of the bill.

This is of course a lie but even if it wasn't so what? Two wrongs make a right now in this ****ing post fact world?

On balance I'm an economic progressive and believe in progressive tax policy but if you think that economic flows should be one way then you are mistaken. There comes a point where economic equality turns into economic stagnation (look at unproductive socialist economies crippled by debt) but your attack seemed clueless, because I never said or implied that we are anywhere close to that here in the U.S. On the contrary, we need a hell of a lot more economic liberalism (not neoliberalism) these days.

Hol up.

I was about to make an honest reply to this but then I realized you unironically used the term 'race baiting'.

Yeah dog. Ok.

The people who asked this question are morons, the Dems waited for CBO scoring.

I was listening to a podcast yesterday (either fake the nation or one of the pod saves) and they were pointing out that back in '13-'14 Trump was getting paid over a million bucks for speaking engagements.

I'm assuming they were lessons for translators to decipher giberish.

I'm willing to bet Trump is poised to make over $100,000,000 extra this year using the office of the presidency. My estimate may even be low.

I mean it sums up the identities of the two political parties. The special dip for Republicans thinking blacks are the least discriminated against in America is a nice *Italian kissing fingers gesture*

Well it is probably true that if Jesus were alive today and lived in the US Trump would likely try and have him deported.

And took nearly two years working to develop the bill with congressional input from both sides of the aisle.
