No, it sounds like she was pointing out how unlikely it was that one devastating piece of information that was released was almost instantly countered by another devastating piece of information, unless you are claiming the campaigns had anything to do with either of those things?

Not sure why anyone would think she'd have lost to Jeb. I doubt he'd have awakened the same passions in the rural Rust Belt crowd as Trump did, which means he likely doesn't win PA/WI/MI the given the margins (78K combined votes)

His one rabid-supporter-satisfying win over the course of his first 105 days will be an EO that officially starts the process of making the most powerful country in the world become one that's moving backwards socially.

Sickening.

How would that be any more constitutional than his travel bans? The President doesn't even have the same broad powers over social issues as he does over boarder policy. This getting **** on by the courts would be pretty amazing.
05-02-2017 , 08:17 PM
That EO won't survive the so-called courts.

EDIT: Damn.

I zoomed in on the picture on both sides. From what I can see:

Left Side

Pledges on Obamacare
Repeal and Replace

Pledges on Tax Reform
Create 100% Repatriation Tax
Lower the Corporate Tax
Eliminate the Estate Tax

Right Side

Pledges on Immigration
Cancel All Federal Funding to Sanctuary Cities
Suspend Immigration from Terror Prone Regions
Implement New Extreme Immigration Vetting Techniques
Suspend Syrian Refugee Program
Create Support Program for Victims of Illegal Immigrants
Expand and Revitalize Popular 287(g) Partnership
Issue Detainees For All Illegal Immigrants Who Are (?) For Any Crime And They Will Be Processed Into Immigration Removal Proceedings.
End Catch and Release
Hire 5,000 More Border Patrol Agents
Triple ICE Agents
Build Border Wall And Eventually Make Mexico (?)
Sunset Our Visa Laws So Congress Is Financed
Finally Complete The Biometric Entry-Exit Visa Truce
Propose Passage of Davis-Oliver Bill
Terminate Obama's "Two Illegal (?)
"Kate's Law"

I think we all fondly remember the Sklansky thought experiment spawned when Trump claimed the only reason he lost the popular vote was because of millions of illegal votes.

This one is cute. Our President two years ago encouraging people not to vote if he's not on the ballot. Selfish imbecile.

Hillary still trying to be relevant when she is a big reason we are in this fked up situation is unbelievably cringeworthy. As others have said go away you are a big part of the problem. You lost to a clueless moron who had no semblance of a ground game and you are literally the poster child for what is wrong with the Dems. And please for the love of god don't force Chelsea down our throats the next 20 years straight like they are gearing up to do.

I think it'll be shot down pretty quickly. And it will be amusing to see him lose in the judicial branch. And even if this did somehow get through, it would result in lawsuits filed all over the place against businesses that tried it, and massive left-wing backlash.

None of that is the point, though. The bigger problem is that the President of the United States in 2017 thinks this is a good idea, and a measurable number of people in the country are want him to do it.

She did win though

been almost 6 months now and midwestern olds still cant stop frothing about hillary on the internet

I'm neither but good read. I also voted for Hillary and was/am crushed she didn't win and we get the Trump fiasco. Like Dids i basicslly havent posted here since about a week aftee the election because of it. All that can be true and I can still be upset with her for blowing the layup vs. Trump. At this point it's blatantly obvious she is doing more harm than good and has been at least since the beginning of the last election cycle. Anyone with a brain can see that. You don't need to be old or Midwestern or a Hillary hater to see that, just a tiny bit of honest reflection and analysis.

wat? telling you to stfu about hillary is not the same as actually giving a **** how you feel or what you have to say
05-02-2017 , 08:51 PM
I mean I get why Hilary is starting to say things. Other than whining about the 1%, Bernie hasn't really said **** in the past 3 months. Hell, he pretty much threw Obama under the bus last week over making $400K a speech.

Huh. This has to be a mistake. Prosecuting for what?
