You can argue about this sure, but arrogantly stating it as fact is mindboggling.

This is just one. I can link to more Nobel prize winning economists who disagree with you.

So address the ACTUAL issue. Havens have nothing to do with the corporate tax rate.

Perhaps I should have said no good economic theory.

My ultimate point is stop trying to backdoor income equity. Address it at the source.

Can't believe we've gone a full page without thanking suitedjustice. Rude!

Suitedjustice, as ever, you are a true patriot. My default response to Trumpkins will now be to link your 100 days sticky.

LOL this guy trying to explain his health care plan on Face the Nation.

Oh good, now he's going to be asked to explain his tax plan...

04-30-2017 , 10:57 AM
Jesus ****ing Christ trump on face the nation is the single most painful thing I have ever seen.

This guy is even dumber than I thought which I wouldn't have guessed possible. He does not make a single coherent statement. Not one.

Thanks guys! And thanks to tomdemaine for being so kind and making a sticky and keeping up with it.

Once the last 10 days go in, I would like for it to be unlocked, so people can post in it if they want, and unstuck, as it's history now.

We have 18 months to go to the midterms. We have to look forward and get ready to fight the good fight.

Oh yeah, wasn't Trump supposed to be getting those 2.5 trillion offshore corporate dollars back into the US as a campaign promise? I remember. Matter of fact, he said he believed it was closer to 5 trillion and that he planned on taking 20% for the government - as "master negotiator" - to fund the $1 trillion infrastructure proposal. Pretty sure that, through amazing foreign policy and bi-lateral deal making skills, he's got the whole world right where he wants them...in place and ready to pull this off.

Thanks bro! Liked the summary at the end as well. Very well done.

Suited justice needs to have that published somewhere

Some awesome quotes from face the nation.

"America has a GDP of 1.6%. That's like 1%. Other countries have a GDP of like 7 or 8%"

"I'm under routine audit. Other rich fiends of mine have never been audited but I've been audited every year since I was famous. It's a routine audit"

It's not so much the lies it's lying in long incoherent ramblings

This interviewer is the biggest pussy in the history of pussies. Easy follow up "MR president why are you a cock sucking liar?"
04-30-2017 , 11:23 AM
" I mean this sincerely Mr. President and I don't want you to take this the wrong way but it's a question that is on the mind of Americans all across this country.

Why do you lie so much?"

Lol, Chris Wallace talking to Schumer today asking him why the democrats ran the first filibuster of a supreme court nominee in history.

Are these people ****ing high? What exactly do they call what happened to Garland?

The whole ****ing bunch of them are just habitual goddamn liars. We are run by a group of people who have no interest outside of whatever makes them look good, damn the people who get hurt.

**** every single one of them

He is actually awesome. He cohosts one of the best political podcasts called slate political gabefest.

Having said that, I agree he was way to soft here.

I agree with you, but we're never raising taxes on the wealthy, so it's kinda like what's the point. And if you looked at the distribution of stock ownership, you'd find that the vast majority (like an absurdly huge amount) is owned by the top 1%. Like a huge amount, maybe even 70%, of americans have no retirement whatsoever, then a decent chunk has a 401k, but not much in it. You really have to get into the top like 5% to get to people that actually own a decent amount of stock.

2 years ago today...

https://twitter.com/realDonaldTrump/...49230281424896

"But, black people use the N word."
"But, I put '...as' at the end."
"But, whataboutObamaments."

Leadership begins at the top, and that's why David Gergen from CNN said last night was the most divisive rally yet.

How do you directly tax people whose unrealized gains in a year are way more than their income without corporate taxes?

These are all fine. You still happy with your undertitle, or would you be interested in an update?

It's a scary cult of personality at this point with the die hard Trump supporters. Nothing he can do or say will change their mind about him, unless maybe he started talking about reparations for black people, equality for all religions and races, etc.

It will take time and a few disasters - just like it did with GWB. The funny thing is people were utterly sick of GWB in 2006 and the economy hadn't collapsed yet. It's almost like there's a pendulum cycle and what presidents do doesn't even have much impact. I'm just hoping Trump will accelerate the cycle because he's so ****ing terrible.
