Don't people usually call their college professors Dr something or other? Did you call them Mr/Mrs or by their first name? The title would also probably be used if they gave a talk made some other appearance. That said I have a doctorate and I'm not sure I've ever called myself "doctor."
04-17-2017 , 02:49 PM
Standard BS answers. Taxes were extra bull****ty. That and China pressuring NK. Obvious bull.

People usually call their college professors "Professor".

In related news, Donald and Melania are flying to Mar-a-Lago in separate planes and staying in separate rooms, because their marriage is very stable and happy.

Why does Melania have to fly to mar a lago. She is the least First Lady we have ever had. Clearly her sole purpose is raising Baron. So why are we spending mllions more to fly her around.

Trump is literally raping the American people with his absurd and abusive travel agenda. Then to add insult to injury we have to double down on his Russian bride?

One of the many funny things spicer said last week about trumps perpetual vacations is unlike obama trump owns the golf courses so that is somehow better.

Trump has no integrity and he is about as far from being a patriot as one can get. Yet millions of bedknobs and broomsticks voted for him even though literally every horrible thing he has done or emboldened was clear before the election.

Hey any of you who voted for trump, you are horrible people and too dumb to take part of the political system. Any of you who are defending him in any way shape or form 90 days in is mentally handicapped.

I read that memberships at Mar-a-Lago went from 100k to 200k just since he took office.

But he is the best negotiator and a successful businessman. Although anyone who was not an imbecile knew neither one of those things were true long before the election. There is not a negotiation with any foreign government or American body who won't always get the best of trump. He is that dumb and that much of a simpleton and you Paul volkers voted for him.

We called most professors Dr. in collect.

In high school, we also had a few teachers with Ph.D. and I recall it being standard to call them Dr. as opposed to Mr/Ms.

I didn't find it weird. That said, outside of a professor/teacher it would be odd to call people doctor - I think it's weird even for actual medical doctors - for instance I find it odd that people refer to him as Dr. Rand Paul.
04-17-2017 , 03:15 PM
lol shouldn't they be calling him Senator Rand Paul? "Doctor" seems like a demotion in this case.

The Secret Service has spent more than $35,000 on golf cart rentals at President Trump's Mar-a-Lago resort.

Principle at my kids middle school insisted on being addressed as Doctor. Never met her but I just know she was a complete ****.

I don't think it's bad in the case of being a middle school principal, because you're trying to project authority above all. My grade school experience was that every "cool" Just-Call-Me-Joe type teacher got clowned hard by the kids.

I couldn't get your link to work, but found this one, the bill was introduced by Lindsey Graham and Jason Chaffetz (so just assume it's terrible based on that alone)

That Wire Act overhaul bill comes straight from Sheldon Adelson's ass btw, not that that should be in any way surprising to anyone
