Isn't this a Hatch act violation? His twitter account is official government property he can't use it to campaign for or against individual candidates.

Hatch doesn't apply to President.

Lol rule of law. Laws don't apply to the President. The election is over.

I assume he doesn't know more than 40-50 good old boys with cleanish criminal records, so he'll have to farm out at least some of the picks, and he'll be too busy overseeing fully body armor retail cannabis busts in Colorado and Oregon to strike all but the most black-looking names off the list. So that leaves about 5 in my book.

Ooooh, I know where to find the answer from a great legal mind. Hold on...

Isn't it technically still his private Twitter account? I feel like there's an official WH account that he never uses.

Wat. It's an indisputable aspect of having achieved a certain academic status. No one has to call you that, nor is any one incorrect to call a PhD holder "Mr."

There's a @POTUS account that I guess his staff uses. This isn't really a rule of law thing, the Pres is literally exempt from the promoting private businesses thing. I'm not sure I even dislike that exemption.

Aight, Spicey time
04-17-2017 , 02:03 PM
Gonna insist y'all call me Dr. Mctrollson from here on out, tia.
04-17-2017 , 02:04 PM
If I end up getting a doctorate in my field, I can't imagine insisting people call me doctor.
04-17-2017 , 02:07 PM
Why are we wasting time arguing about which law(s) he is breaking? This Justice Department and this Congress are going to do exactly jack **** about it.

Through my entire education, up to and including my PhD, I never called an academic "doctor". It's an idiotic tradition. I know hundreds of PhDs and have only heard a small number use the term doctor and inevitably they are giant douchbags.

FBI one time! We have to hope Comey keeps his job long enough to take Trump down in short enough time to stop WW3.
