Trump's approval rating did jump up a bit on Gallup. Was 35% before the Syria strike, 41% this morning according to the news.

Because Americans think killing people is the most presidential thing imaginable.

LC but, LOL Winter White House

Undercooled meat. Dangerous fish. Health inspectors zing Trump’s Mar-a-Lago kitchen

"Inspectors found 13 violations at the fancy club’s kitchen, according to recently published reports — a record for an institution that charges $200,000 in initiation fees.

Three of the violations were deemed “high priority,” meaning that they could allow the presence of illness-causing bacteria on plates served in the dining room."

Man, I'm pretty numb to scumbags and sleazeballs being absolutely everywhere in politics, but this Paul Manafort character is something else.

Another morning, another round of presidential dumbassery on twitter.

He cooks his steaks rock-hard; no chance E. coli is taking Trump down.

holy **** the delusions needed to believe that.
The same people who believe that are the ones who watched the presidential debates and thought Trump standing around like a ****ing idiot clearly out of his league crushed Hillary Clinton on policy questions.

What a gross interview. It's like Maria is asking him for the dirt on his date with Ivanka or something.

"Oooh...how did she react when you showed her your missile? Did she giggle?"

I knew he was going to be the WOAT - that wasn't even a question - but he lack of seriousness with which he takes his position is almost shocking. He really thinks he's playing President on Civilization II or some ****.

And yes, I assume if he played that game, he'd still be on II.

Civ II was the best incarnation of Civ.

FOH. Civ VI ftw. Also V and VI are great.

Haven't played II though, but surely the consensus is that IV is the best.

No II is the best everyone knows that

When I was in college I worked in two different Tuscaloosa country clubs, and both were ****ing filthy. It was unbelievable how little they seemed to care about running a kitchen properly. It was like night v day worse than any chain restaurant kitchen. They just didn't seem to give a ****. I also tended bar at a third CC in a different city, same deal, I guess they think since they are private they aren't held to the same standards as the plebs' eateries (and they're probably right, at least in AL).

ETA we always used to joke about how, if any of our members ever wandered into the kitchen by accident, we wouldn't have any members

Not really, have you seen how the left hangs on to Louise Mensch and @20committee's every word?
04-13-2017 , 10:34 AM
except that the left is the target audience for LM and @20 whereas the left is the stated enemy of the breitbart crowd, so while LM/@20/BB all hate muslims, i dont think youve really made an appropriate comparison

breitbart loves sipping liberal/berniebro tears, it would be some weird and twisted **** even by today's standards if they were to ever want to join forces to spite the establishment
04-13-2017 , 10:36 AM
Well Louise Mensch is a conservative and that 20committee dude came as hard at Obama as he does now at Trump. Those guys aren't newly-minted progressives, they simply share a common enemy with progressives so now progressives follow them and quote them on the reg. In that respect it's pretty much spot-on comparatively.
04-13-2017 , 10:36 AM
now that i think about it, i'm gonna retract what i said about that being the stupidest question eva, because this is just the kind of times we live in now.
