Face up denier trying to dilute facts by calling them Holocaust Centers instead of concentration camps or death camps, or mentioning, um, *gas* chambers. Horrible person; perfect face for this horrible administration.

Keep clutching them pearls. Hope they take each case to trial so they can get embarrassed 214 times.

Isn't his press pool just that one reporter who released the nice long article about how Tillerson is terribad at interpersonal stuff?

Spicer isn't a Holocaust denier. Just an oaf who doesn't know how to use his words.
04-12-2017 , 02:17 PM
Isn't his entire job to use words correctly?

Fine, let's assume he didn't deny the holocaust. He should be fired for his racially insensitive comments about the Holocaust. FIRE SPICER. FIRE SESSIONS. FIRE BANNON. FIRE PRUITT. FIRE DEVOS.
04-12-2017 , 02:22 PM
Press is so lazy, it was obviously stupid what Spicer said but let's move on shall we? Some pretty big issues to discuss and this isn't one of them.

Fun little side by side showing the difference between this administration and like...an actual government:

They could hire someone competent other than spicer instead but yeah let's fire him.

The way he kept it nice and short until he danced around that subject before saying hitler makes me wonder if he is fed some **** and is supposed to say it even if he doesn't want to.

Either way he's the one guy I don't want to see fired.

WaPo has a quick blurb about Montana's house election (they have one statewide district) to replace Ryan Zinke: Bernie supporter running for House raises $1.3 million from donations averaging $40

Quote:
Rob Quist, a folk singer and Bernie Sanders supporter running for Montana’s open House seat, announced Tuesday that he’d raised $1.3 million so far for his race — the latest example of liberal donors crowdfunding in the hopes of creating an upset.

According to Quist’s FEC filings, promoted to reporters by the campaign, the Democrat raised close to $1 million in March alone, made up of 22,333 individual contributions. The average donation was $40, boosted after Sanders’s group Our Revolution and the Daily Kos blog endorsed Quist.

It's disgusting how giddy they are about blowing things up to assert America as the super power.

In shocking news, the DCCC is doing nothing on this one either. Thousands of elections, guys... This one doesn't matter that much to the establishment Dems either, I guess. Who needs House seats, anyway?
04-12-2017 , 03:39 PM
While Spicer makes Holocaust ****-ups and takes up the news, Tillerson ****s up stuff that actually matters.

North Dakota congressman: Spicer Hitler comment 'not without some validity'
Quote:
Cramer initially said "I think he apologized and that's the end of it." But Hennen pressed him for more, saying of Spicer, "I think what he was saying is that Hitler didn't take chemical weapons out in a battle-like form and do what Assad did with these children."

Cramer replied, "It's a factual statement."

And yet they didn't give much to dude who lost by <8 yesterday, who was also a Sanders supporter. I guess it was just a less sexy race or something.

I saw a lot of chirping today about how the establishment failed to support him (a valid complaint), but it's not like the Sanders' group doesn't pick and choose as well.

The fact that people actually bought being friends with Russia as a legitimate possibility is not as shocking as it should be.

Seems ridic that so many people are mad a 27 point dog only lost by 7 on the road in Kansas 4, which is the Koch's home district. The more attention, the more R whips up the votes, it's still comfortable R district in a full election year, but any R in < +10 district are gonna feel the heat now.
04-12-2017 , 04:19 PM
to the extent the Kansas election seems close it's because a lot of the local Republicans stayed home knowing they would win anyway. This effect is not uncommon in off-year elections
