Meh, pay them a few million and they'll stop the saber rattling. Keep talking tough and all you accomplish is having him increase his commitment to getting nukes, because once he has them it takes regime change by a U.S. led coalition off the table.

It's the only thing that makes sense. The U.S. will probably even make a profit in the deal.

Walp, I guess we're all good as long as NK doesn't develop the advanced technology of putting things on ships and transporting them.

I haven't played Civ in a while but I think that's far down the tech tree.

I'm not saying the solution is war where SK suffers massive casualties, I'm saying it's not trying to appease NK with money. Ideally we'd have China throw their weight around and try some good old fashioned diplomacy but this administration doesn't seem super great at talking to other countries.
