I'm with Dominic, I don't know how to feel about it. Disabling surge pricing to help get people in and out of protests is... good for protesters, right? Except to act in solidarity with taxis they'd have to shut down altogether. And doesn't disabling surge pricing in reality screw the drivers while helping the protesters?
