I don't mean to be that guy "that's not fun at parties" (although spoiler: I am actually not a very fun party person) but chances are Cohen will go to a low security federal prison camp. As far as the danger level goes in the prison system those are pretty much as low as it gets.

My understanding (from dozens of minutes watching Bug Herc in his "Fresh Out" youtube videos) is that there isn't a lot of cheek bustin' in the Federal pens. There won't even be much Wig Splittin' at the country club Cohen goes to.

Federal prison is not nearly as bad as state prison, at least in CA. Probably anywhere. Most violent crime is state.
