The Presidency of Donald J. Trump: No smocking guns. The Presidency of Donald J. Trump: No smocking guns.

from The Op-Ed Manafort Is Accused Of Ghostwriting With A Russian Asset

Quote:
With all that said I can only wonder why some American media dare falsely claim that Paul Manafort lobbied Russian interests in Ukraine and torpedoed AA signing. Without his input Ukraine would not have had the command focus on reforms that were required to be a nation candidate to the EU.

All listed here facts can be easily verified. If only one pursues the truth. Not tends to twist the reality in line with his or her conviction that the dubious goal of undermining Trump’s presidency justifies most dishonest means.

Also, evangelicals supporting right wing Israeli politics makes sense because both sides don’t like Muslims. Evangelicals will fix the “Jewish problem” later.

This thread is approaching 70k posts.

I think we'll need a new Trump thread for 2018.

Is it true repubs are having trouble reconciling the tax bill because the Senate, in it's haste, wrote a 20% AMT into the legislation that will in fact cause corporations to pay more than they currently are and the rich donors are pissed?

So why is Trump recognizing Jerusalem as the capital of Israel going to cause riots and violence all over the ME? It changes nothing on the ground, he's not moving the embassy and no other country in the world will follow suit. America's influence on world events is also at its lowest in decades, thanks to Donny. ELI5 please? Seems like he's just doing it for attention and to counter the "Trump's presidency is weak" narrative.

Those weren't terrorists, they were white

it's kinda crazy how all year people were (rightly) terrified of 'what's going to happen when there's an Islamist terror attack in the US under Trump', and then there was one only a month ago that has basically been forgotten by everyone, including Trump and the deplorables.
12-06-2017 , 01:19 PM
If Vegas or Sutherland Springs was Muslim it would still be on the front page of foxnews.com.
12-06-2017 , 01:26 PM
yeah, but before it happened we all would have assumed the same thing about an ISIS-inspired truck attack in NYC.

no doubt being sandwiched in between two significantly more deadly attacks by white guys took a lot of the air out of it though.
12-06-2017 , 01:35 PM
Right - that's crucial. Also a truck attack in NYC doesn't light up the right-wing fear center like getting shot at church or a country music concert.

Ugh, the Dems never learn do they? Trying to force Franken to step down while the GOP is actively promoting Moore.
12-06-2017 , 02:23 PM
So is this the start of the end times then?

It's the right thing to do and the seat will stay D. It'd be a more interesting scenario if Franken was from an R leaning state.

I don't think anyone mentioned it yet, but Time Magazine went with the #Metoo silence breakers.

What was that lisping of his S’s towards the end of this ridiculous speech? I was hoping against all odds he had stroked out.

This jerusalem embassy thing reminds me of the white supremacist statues in the civil rights era; they're doing it just because they're all giant *******s.

Unfortunately, they win either way, they either feel superior which is what they also believe or they get violence in pushback, which is also what they want.

The US is now in violation of UN Security Council Resolution 478 (August 1980, passed 14-0, USA abstaining).
