He obviously had no idea what he was saying - he probably just heard someone say it at school and that it was somehow supposed to be funny. I didn't yell at him, but I obviously was quite serious with him about it and explained why it was wrong. He was so upset that he said something that bad that he cried.

Yes, that's Donald Glover with his crew before all the fame.

Cohen, Trump’s Ex-Lawyer, Investigated for Bank Fraud in Excess of $20 Million
Federal authorities investigating whether President Trump’s former personal lawyer and fixer, Michael D. Cohen, committed bank and tax fraud have zeroed in on well over $20 million in loans obtained by taxi businesses that he and his family own, according to people familiar with the matter.

Investigators are also examining whether Mr. Cohen violated campaign finance or other laws by helping to arrange financial deals to secure the silence of women who said they had affairs with Mr. Trump. The inquiry has entered the final stage and prosecutors are considering filing charges by the end of August, two of the people said.

...

Federal investigators in New York are seeking to determine whether Mr. Cohen misrepresented the value of his assets to obtain the loans, which exceed $20 million.

They are also examining how he handled the income from his taxi medallions and whether he failed to report it to the Internal Revenue Service.

And all these should be potentially harsh sentences but it will likely end up 30 day suspended sentence lol weed smokers.

Their job is not only their 9-5, but also their primary hobby. Most people don't share this attitude and hate when they have to work 75 hour weeks or on weekends or over vacations. Don't those sort of sacrifices deserve to be rewarded when the lottery ticket they are working towards actually hits?

I personally feel that people who are willing to set everything else aside for their job should be able to reap outsized benefits. I also believe that if you hit on a business model that compounds your wealth by 50-100% then you should be able to keep those gains. When your business model fails you won't be given your initial capital and time back and when it succeeds but only compounds at 5-10% you're not going to have to distribute your equity to others either. We know these guys' names because they hit tail end outcomes. They were less than .01% to succeed as wildly as they did, but the tail end success of Amazon, Microsoft, Berkshire, Tesla, Facebook, etc. actually make up a very meaningful aspect of the EV of starting a business simply because the numbers are so big that they make up for the miniscule chance of occurring.

Even though these guys mostly come from middle or upper class backgrounds their parents were nowhere near as rich as they are. So yea, its hard to ascend straight to the top, but if your parents lived paycheck to paycheck maybe you can come close to the 1% and your kids can become worth tens or hundreds of millions and their kids can become billionaires if they all have a single-track mind that focuses on some sort of business or entrepreneurial track.
yo dog wtf is wrong with you

Often times the people who fail at a business are the ones who learned the valuable lessons needed to make their next try successful. But of course because they had a failure they're also seen as way more of an investment risk and thus far less likely to get the capital needed to get started.
