FL-02 (Dunn's seat) is rated "Safe R" with a voter index of R+18

Trump could be using his voice to amplify close races instead of copying and pasting the same text over and over again for candidates that do not matter (yesterday he endorsed an R in a CA race that doesn't have a D opponent!), kinda undercuts the whole "he's really smart and playing 5D chess" thing, really wish AWice was here to explain this one to us

Looks like someone told him about the college educated woman thing. "Sorry boss, but your base is on oyxgen and you're down 30% with college educated woman. Let's just say you might want to order some of those industrial shredders in the next, eh, week or so."

While he may be reassuring his mostly male base, he is now raising the level of animosity among women through the roof. In the most recent Quinnipiac poll, 55 percent of women disapprove of Trump strongly, while only 36 percent of men approve of Trump strongly.

Current 538 is 84% chance dems take the house. According to Maddow last night, 69k people showed up for 1st day of early voting in GA vs something like 24k in 2014. If that's at all projectable, then it's not going to be a blue wave...it's going to be a bloodbath.

He'd rather be right

I will never understand how you could be a college educated woman who just recently decided Trump maybe wasn't such a good deal for you. I get that some are just brainwashed and there's nothing you can do. But how could you possibly be on the fence about this?

Some were go along to get along "habitual" Repubs, largely uninformed, didn't want to vote Hillary and voted R-congressperson to check her power. I mean this isn't a ton of people, but even 1 in 30 is significant. The midterms are all about intensity, and Trump does nothing if not inspire intense hatred.

Predictit has the Dems taking the House at 67%, seems like good value.

It is astonishing. The reality is most people simply don’t give a **** about anything until it directly impacts their life.

“Got mine, **** you” is the GOP battle cry.

Voting guide made by Crooked Media (Pod Save America) that has info on all ballot initiatives and such in your area. Have only done a quick skim but looks really good.

If your physical confrontations on the street last longer than 10 seconds, you're doing it wrong.

If you take martial arts, you can defend yourself from a weapon, incapacitate your enemy, and run off in a matter of seconds. I'm not talking those McDojos at strip malls where people do katas and **** like that but classes in disciplines like krav maga where eye gouging, groin shots, and throat strikes are tools of the trade.

Only suckers stand around and admire their work. You drop somebody from Proud Boys attacking you, you can bet your life that a bunch of them are nearby. Those ****ers don't have the balls to attack somebody on their own.

At no point in my life will I ever, without dread, think to myself, "We'll be in the clear if FL does the right thing." The TX corollary to this is: same goes for TX.

If I were developing a strategic plan for something, anything, I would first assume FL and TX are out and proceed from there.

Early voting has started in TN, went by the polling place today and it was absolutely mobbed. Gonna try again tomorrow.

If I were Iran, I’d just give Trump some money to get sanctions lifted.

Their real problem is none of their buildings are tall enough to be worthy of a giant gold TRUMP.

We know for certain Iran owned 650 5th Avenue.

I’d be shocked if Iran doesn’t own even more valuable real estate in NYC.

I’d be shocked if Iran doesn’t own even more valuable real estate somewhere in the developed world.

Republicans win if the left keeps talking about that. Majority of this country do not support it.

Clovis's point was that the Dems should focus on substantive issues, while you want to focus on a process issue. I don't have a strong opinion on whether to pack the Court, but I think the substantive issues are better to campaign on.

I want to do a deep research dive on early voting, but as Nate states:

I really think Don Jr is getting indicted in November, is there somewhere putting out odds on stuff like that?

I find it stupid people think Trump cares at all about Saudi purchase of American weapons.

Trump just wants MBS to overpay for more overpriced Trump condos and hotel rooms.
