Current 538 is 84% chance dems take the house. According to Maddow last night, 69k people showed up for 1st day of early voting in GA vs something like 24k in 2014. If that's at all projectable, then it's not going to be a blue wave...it's going to be a bloodbath.

I will never understand how you could be a college educated woman who just recently decided Trump maybe wasn't such a good deal for you. I get that some are just brainwashed and there's nothing you can do. But how could you possibly be on the fence about this?

Some were go along to get along "habitual" Repubs, largely uninformed, didn't want to vote Hillary and voted R-congressperson to check her power. I mean this isn't a ton of people, but even 1 in 30 is significant. The midterms are all about intensity, and Trump does nothing if not inspire intense hatred.

Clovis's point was that the Dems should focus on substantive issues, while you want to focus on a process issue. I don't have a strong opinion on whether to pack the Court, but I think the substantive issues are better to campaign on.
