I’m sure trump told him, at the time “You declare me the healthiest president of all time, and I will find a good job for you.”

I don’t feel sorry for him because he probably snap accepted.

I can believe trump was once closer to 6’3” just because people tend to shrink as the get older. My dad was a real 6’3” but was much closer to 6’0” at 70.

I am guessing 90% of guys add 1”-2” to their height. It is super common, but I agree if Trump were 6’3” he would say he is 6’5”.

Well, yes, all of those. It's pretty much everything about Trump. The watch itself is too small for him, he doesn't seem to know how to size the bracelet so it's too tight(or, more likely, it's at maximum size and his wrists are just too fat for it), it's a gold dress watch that he wears golfing(?), it's a Patek Phillippe but not one of the cool Pateks. It's the sort of ostentatious display of wealth without any consideration of style or taste that defines Trump.

The wildest thing about all these vetting failures is like, real administrations ask first. Like they will self-vet quietly before even floating a name, they'll go to the guy and say "hey are there any skeletons in your closet", they'll get oppo on their own nominee in advance.

And the anonymously sourced floating is also part of the vetting process, to see if anyone else has dirt on the nominee before the President gets his fingerprints on him or her.

Would you rather have $5 or $10. 10? Ha, you must be for Trump's tax cuts then. Gotcha ya filthy libtard.

It's not wild at all when you think about the real reason behind all these vetting failures. Far more important than experience, competence, or any actual qualifications, loyalty reigns supreme and usurps all else in Trumpland.

He learned early on what happens when you nominate someone that can pass a vetting process... (even though I hate everything about Sessions and what he stands for), they soon recuse themselves or resign.

lmao, at what age does someone have to get hit in the head to stunt their mental growth enough to find this a compelling argument? Somewhere on the internet, the bizarro world liberal preki is like

Interviewer: "Do you support more people having health insurance?"
Ben Shapiro clone: "Sure"
Interviewer: "SURPRISE, you're now a Bernie Bro!"

No way the Ben Shapiro clone answers “yes” though.

We should pass a law banning all guns and giving everyone $10. We poll on only the 10 dollars and claim gun banning has a 90% approval rate.

Checkmate.

The same reason Xi threw Trump a big parade.

They don't have the pee tape so must flatter his ego to get what they want. He's probably trying to salvage as much of the Iran deal as possible.

As humiliating as it is in the moment, it would basically be treason for the head of any other country to do anything other then lick Daddy's sack.

Joe Lieberman killed the public option in the ACA. He is a war hawk and one of the worst, slimiest politicians ever. The only good thing about Gore losing* is that Lieberman didn't have a shot at being the head of the Democratic party.

Mick Mulvaney, the interim director of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, told banking industry executives and lobbyists on Tuesday that they should increase their campaign donations to influence lawmakers, revealing that he would meet only with lobbyists who contributed to his campaign when he served in the House.

“We had a hierarchy in my office in Congress,” Mr. Mulvaney, a former Republican lawmaker from South Carolina, told 1,300 bankers and lobbyists at an American Bankers Association conference in Washington. “If you’re a lobbyist who never gave us money, I didn’t talk to you. If you’re a lobbyist who gave us money, I might talk to you.”
Saying the quiet part loud again. You're supposed to say that lobbyists offer legislators expertise in areas that they might not have knowledge of, not that you're having a bidding war in exchange for access.

Quote:
In his remarks, Mr. Mulvaney also announced a series of moves intended to reduce the bureau’s power. The agency was championed by Senator Elizabeth Warren, Democratic of Massachusetts, and Richard Cordray, who served as the bureau’s director from its inception until last year.

Such moves include shutting off public access to the bureau’s*online database of consumer complaints, which the agency had used to help guide its investigations and enforcement actions.

“I don’t see anything in here that says I have to run a Yelp for financial services sponsored by the federal government,” he said, suggesting the posting of suspected misdeeds by lenders was comparable to bad reviews on the popular online review site.
Seems like having an public database of complaints would be right in line with what you're supposed to do, since they're complaining to you.

This is all true, but McConnell is truly in a class by himself.
