You mean Trump may pressure Sessions into firing McCabe in line with the FBI IG's recommendation, a collection of mostly similar career FBI employees led by a director appointed by Obama. There's plenty of evidence to suggest that it would be justified. There is of course a political angle to it but if you're defending him solely because of that your opinion is not very well informed.

From 2006:

Quote:
"I'm at this fashion show," Vanessa Trump said, recalling their meeting in 2003. "Donald Trump comes up to me with his son: 'Hi, I'm Donald Trump. I wanted to introduce you to my son Donald Trump Jr.'"

The three engaged in a brief, awkward conversation.

At intermission, the elder Trump again noticed a gorgeous girl nearby.

"Donald comes back up to me again, 'I don't think you've met my son Donald Trump Jr.,'" Vanessa Trump recalled. She remembers responding, "Yeah, we just met, five minutes ago."

Six weeks later, at a birthday party at a New York restaurant, they were introduced a third time, this time by a mutual friend. Neither remembered the other. "We talked for an hour," she recalled.

Then suddenly, something clicked: Wait, you were at that fashion show. Wait, you're "the one with the ******ed dad!" Vanessa blurted out.

Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) said on Wednesday he would oppose President Trump's nominations of CIA Director Mike Pompeo to be secretary of State and CIA Deputy Director Gina Haspel to lead the spy agency.

First, her name is Torture Lady.

Second, if McCain opposes as well and all the Democrats are unified against (and Paul is serious about his opposition) then this might be sunk.

I do, of course, understand that all of those assumptions are long shots.

The Federal Reserve of Atlanta has had to walk back, in a big way, its headline-making forecast that the first quarter would feature eye-popping economic growth.

Where back in late January the central bank district was calling for a 5.4 percent GDP gain, it released a reading Wednesday for its widely followed GDPNow tracker that slashed that projection all the way down to 1.9 percent.

just for lols
I distinctly remember adios posting this the second it came up, then I asked him if he would like to bet on such. We all know how that turned out.

fwiw there's a solid chance they leave her alone, she's at the UN and not a policy person in the WH and she's useful. (ie they'll say administration has blamed russia for it's actions)

Odds mostly depend if fox news mentions it or not obviously.

Always figured the Trump boys attracted classy ladies. Can’t wait for Barron to marry Honey Booboo.

That was not laundering money though it was just hiding it. The point of laundering money is so you can openly spend it.

We've been over this, there are very stupid people in this world and Trump is one of them.

I think Paul is serious about opposition -- he can be ideologically consistent with these things. McCain on the other hand, big talker who generally falls in line (other that one health care vote from last year did surprise me).

Unfortunately, I can't imagine getting anywhere near all 49 democrats on board to oppose. Centrist neolibs, "enhanced interrogation" is essentially forgiven and/or supported. Torture architects like Brennan were supported by Obama and are now welcomed as MSNBC contributors. George Bush is fawned over on shows like Ellen. It's sad, but as a nation overwhelmingly we accept that it's ok for us to have tortured.

When I type marine, it automatically suggests corps. So Trump is extra stupid because he sees it come up and thinks "core."

Yeah, this would be extremely hard to have somehow put a typo that the phone autocorrects to core, since it will recognize Corps or similar -- much more likely Trump actually thinks its written as core. LOL.

Bet he names the new space branch of the military the Space Core instead of Space Force now.

Since space is a war fighting domain and all.

Re Amazon.

Its not a seller setting. Unverified purchasers can review by default.

If a bunch of unverified reviewers start abusing the system to slag off a product, they get switched off. I dont know if this is automatic or some kine of internal review by amazon.

This happened with Hillarys book.
