I work in the entertainment industry in LA and think that the big lascivious producer trope is just so unbelievably standard that people just didn't pay that much extra attention to Harvey. People may have not mentioned it to Streep because they would just assume she knew. Or maybe she is known to be friends with Harvey so people didn't want to go there.

IMO any imbalance of power is likely to be corrupted, and especially so if it's an "artificial" imbalance. Like with the bribes in the NCAA. It would never happen on that scale if the players weren't indentured servants. Honestly I assume any super-powerful guy is taking horrible advantage of somebody in some way. I think it's likely that given some time women would do so as well.
