The "economic anxiety" stuff ignores that the anxiety (as it were) is almost completely racist. It reads like journalists from upper middle class backgrounds trying real hard not to call racism what it is. However...

Those polls have some interesting data, but the analysis IMO misses the point. The hardcore Trumpsters were always more the people afraid of becoming losers than they were the losers. That's the main failure of the "left behind" thesis: It assumes that the person who has already lost the job is more easily manipulated than the person terrified about possibly losing the job.

I mean you know what he's trying to say. The highest rainfall, the worst flooding, but this is how a 3 year old would describe it.

there's an msnbc thread and a hillary thread, there's no reason to even post this **** in here. she won by 3 million. oh, she didn't take enough risks so she could win by 5 million? if she went on the howard stern show and talked about her favorite vibrators you'd say she lost because she took too many risks, just get over it dude

Don’t get me wrong. HRC is amazing but her presence on the public stage is net bad for dems.

She is talking about trump the whole time. It’s relevant.

2 (posting in the msnbc thread) check out hillary clinton on maddow rn. great/terrible segment

3 (posting in the relitigating the 2016 election thread) HRC on Maddow. She needs to go away so badly.

Shocker from SCOTUS. Bye bye dark money.

https://www.npr.org/2018/09/18/64872...ls-some-donors

Quote:
The Supreme Court on Tuesday insisted that many donations to predominantly conservative political nonprofit groups — what's often called dark money — be disclosed, seven weeks ahead of the 2018 midterm elections.

The ruling closes, at least for now, a loophole that has allowed wealthy donors to finance aggressive ads while staying anonymous. Crafted by the Federal Election Commission nearly 40 years ago, the loophole flourished after the 2010 Citizens United ruling.

...

The secret giving is made possible by a regulatory loophole at the FEC. The groups, usually organized as 501(c)(4) social welfare organizations or 501(c)(6) business associations, don't register as political committees with the commission. With the loophole, the FEC wants donor disclosure only when a donor earmarks the money for specific ads.

The top four spenders identified by Issue One are the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, the mainstream conservative Crossroads GPS, the Koch network's Americans for Prosperity and the National Rifle Association. Issue One says that collectively, the four groups pumped at least $357 million into elections between 2010 and 2016.

wtf is wrong with you? this entire forum has ripped on cohn and the document stealers from the start. I mean, I get that you are desperate to score points but maybe not resort to blatant lying.
