Money for funding courts to hear asylum cases. Money for housing unaccompanied minors in non-prisons, non-black sites. Money for health and education of unaccompanied minors and placement with family, foster families. That's something the Dems should propose.

They could also propose demolishing all the existing barriers and then compromise by agreeing to leave it as is.

What is the actual path of the wall? What is the ecological impact of a wall? How much is maintenance going to cost? How many officers are going to be needed to patrol the wall? How many illegals is the wall going to stop?

How about you come up with more than a name and a design based on the last person Trump talked to and then it can be discussed. There are ways to have border security without a wall, but it would be nice there was an actual need shown for a wall besides a campaign promise.

Border wall doesn't accomplish that. All it does is keep out the good illegals while the bad illegals still get in.
