His reputation was already in tatters. How did the disclosure hurt his case? It more likely hurt SC.
He can try to set aside his guilty pleas but he has already been found guilty on multiple counts by a jury. He was also questioned extensively by the Judge before his plea was accepted so it is unlikely that the Court would set it aside.
