The Presidency of Donald J. Trump: Harm to Ongoing Matter The Presidency of Donald J. Trump: Harm to Ongoing Matter

well, trump supported luther strange over roy moore and that didn't work. If anything I expect many R nominations to be worse than Trump from here. It's just what those people want.

He completely ****ed up the quote too to nobody's surprise

Does anyone personally know someone who has gone to a Trump rally? I want to meet one.

Trump's not that different from any other Republican grifter. The problem is having a Republican grifter as President. Once he's out he'll just be another angry white guy screaming that Hillary should be in prison.

If I had to guess I'd say Fox News coopts him after he leaves. Give his kids shows or guest appearance spots. I don't see him having the stamina to brawl it out with them even if he has a loyal fan base. Maybe, though, who knows.

I've been to Trump rallies. Probably not who you're looking for though.

Didn't there use to be a thread about profile a Trump supporter? That should have plenty of anecdotal stories of trumpers.

On the impeach side

Quote:
The real importance of impeachment at this point is to shelter the country from what Trump and his allies will do if Democrats remain aimless. Democrats aren’t really buying time for themselves. They are buying time for Trump to get the GOP back on its horribly dishonest but unified message that he has been exonerated and that the investigation itself was criminal. If Democrats don’t pull the country into a debate about impeachment, we won’t get a draw. We will get a debate about investigating the investigators and jailing Trump’s critics. Cowardice creates a void that Trump will fill with autocratic ambition, and his*crooked attorney general will be there to help.

Playing nice has gotten the Democrats Mitt Romney’s health bill in the last 19 years. So maybe don’t do that anymore?

I never said that Barr wasn't misrepresenting the report. I said he likely was not giving the whole story on obstruction. I simply said that Barr would be insane to say that there were no conspiracy with Russia indictments forthcoming when that wasn't true.

Barr did say there was no evidence of collusion when it turns out the report presents a great deal of such evidence. That's totally sane though.

One of President Donald Trump’s top congressional allies announced on Friday that he’d hired a speechwriter who left the White House last year after it was reported he’d spoken at a conference attended by white nationalists.

Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL)*tweeted that he had brought on board*“the talented Dr. Darren Beattie” to serve as a “Special Advisor for Speechwriting.”

Is this back?

It was never gone.

Like the girlfriend that packed her stuff and left, only to return the next morning.

I think it’s gone for good.
