Barr's generation, and maybe a few remaining Kavanaugh's are the last of the great culture warriors with credentials. They're down to the stephen miller's, who didn't realize the game was lost and who even went to work for sessions in the Senate.

Many of the judges Trump will appoint grew up listening to rap. Barr is a dead ender, Trump exploited the last gasp of high voter participation old white evangelicals, but that is done. This is all manifest. Barr is over, Trump is over. The future rolls out before us, like the matrix, where the socialists and the centrists will compete with one another. The last vestige, 35 years from now, will be some of McConnell's judges, but probably only like 40% of them. The rest will get with the program.

Pleople like Jim Jordan and Mark Meadows are just surviving day to day. In 15 years their districts will change and they'll be out like Rohrbacher. If things like abortion bans are upheld, it will only hasten the process. BTW, even the pope is a liberal now.
Thanks for replying Simplicious, I had to go out so couldn't reply sooner... I really hope your right & to a certain extent I agree as the West is becoming more Liberal in general, the likes of the parkland kids have given me hope as I see them as the future generations who don't bow to the right wing B.S. It's the same here in our parts where we see through their B.S. Fortunately the right hasn't won more than 10 seats here in 10 years but still hold power due to england, I hope you peeps get there sooner rather than later.

But we have to keep fighting hard in the paint to make progress as any slips will be pounced on.. Don't give up the good fight brother

The problem with this is that almost all top 10 law school grads are intrinsically future Republican voters. Once they start working the big corporate firms they will come to their senses and realize this. A few of them will hang on into their 40s before they realize the incongruity of owning a sailboat, driving a mercedes, and donating to Democratic campaigns.

That’s just not true. I rip lawyers as much as anyone on here but a large majority of biglaw votes Democratic.

I was shocked to learn that a ton of the higher profile ambulance chasing firms around these parts are run by conservatives

Lol attempted coup. Clinton gets impeached lying about a for a bj as some kind of threat to the Republic but FBI agents listening in on people who have admitted to talking to known Russian agents is an illegal coup with Comey, Clinton and Lorreta Lynch manning tanks surrounding the Presidential palace.

Depends. The more educated you are , the more likely you are to vote Dem (different from 25 years ago, BTW).

Since most people don't pay that much to politics, I'd bet that as long as the Dems don't do something REALLY stupid on the tax/economic front, this won't change. You can always find outliers, though.

Republicans did a hell fo a job with the narrative--this whole **** started because we were spying on the Russians and team trump just willingly came right on in.

The Mueller report is totally fabricated but also it exonerates me!

Just like how ****ed up is your brain to go along with that.
04-19-2019 , 05:32 PM
btw, Carter Page tried really hard, the russians balked, said he was too stupid.

A lot of the reason they're not getting prosecuted is you couldn't prove beyond a reasonable doubt the reason for what they did is simply because they are incredibly stupid. (see, page, don jr)

You guys do realize that we won’t be done with trump in 2020 or 2024

He will not go away from the limelight. He will still tweet and do interviews and hold rallies and if a republican isn’t Trumpian enough then he will help someone primary that republican, so republicans that are scared to cross him now will still be scared to cross him then.

He’ll get a random stupid idea from Tucker or Hannity or Rush or Dobbs and then tweet out that it must happen and republicans that don’t go along will be primaried.

This nightmare doesn’t end because it’s a cult, not a presidency. The new purity litmus test is agreeing with Trump and kissing the ring.
