But it should be proposed and anyone who disagrees is a clovistard of the highest magnitude. The end.

Like seriously we would all be better off if your furious 50 posts a week had just been posted in the dump and you had left yourself there like Ray from the Trailer Park Boys. You can keep on posting but no one with a brain would ever think it is something they should read and take note of.

it's worth the stupid ****ing wall, right?

(I realize that this is unrealistic, but just entertain the hypothetical for a minute)

No. It not worth his stupid wall

It’s really not.

Didnt Wichita vote for Trump or is like a registered Republican? Think I remember him having a meltdown about it in early 2016

I don’t keep tabs on everyone but just a general feel

Like I know Clovis from the American idol threads and now he’s that dude for
Canada

Same with victor. Prob video games or SS poker back in the day

I think I had witch in the “bad guy” team in my head for a bit. But then realized nah he’s mostly on my team

But this week he’s gone off the deep end.

Talking about how to compromise with a hostage taker.

We lol

No dudes. Let’s get DACA + your mom in the deal

Trump. “National emergency”

Well that didn’t work.

MrWookie already laid out the only possible strategy for Democrats in post #938:

If the progressive priority is a large enough win compared to the wall, then it doesn't matter if the Senate agrees or not. Either we get a big win in exchange for a useless monument, or else the Senate and Trump both tank their approval ratings (Trump's with the donor class for talking about giving bread to the plebes, the Senate's with the rubes for disagreeing with Trump and denying the wall).

Top Senate Democrat Chuck Schumer on Tuesday pulled back an offer of $25 billion for President Donald Trump's long-promised southern border wall, as lawmakers scrambled to figure out how to push a deal to protect 700,000 or more so-called Dreamer immigrants from deportation.

Schumer had made the offer last Friday in a last-ditch effort to head off a government shutdown, then came scalding criticism from his party's liberal activist base that Democrats had given up too easily in reopening the government without more concrete promises on immigration.

"We're going to have to start on a new basis, and the wall offer's off the table," Schumer, D-N.Y., told reporters Tuesday.

I think by instituting a wealth tax and raising estate taxes a lot we can raise the same funds as a very high marginal tax rate which can hurt innovation and is easier to avoid.
That's the trouble with these Lucro-American activists. They talk a good game about all being on the same side, but at the end of the day they're only looking out for their own interests. Sneaky, like. Can't trust them.

This is just crazy. If you really got everything in eye’s post you would be nuts not to trade the wall.

I called it like 100 posts ago but I should have really taken the leap and predicated it would be this disingenuous moron accusing me of being against tax increases on the rich, because of course it is.

Some people itt stick with their purity position out of belief but for you I’m guessing it’s becuse you are simply not smart enough to understand the subtleties of agreeing with AOCs goals but wanting the methods to change a little.
01-06-2019 , 09:42 AM
And prickly, too, can't wait to accuse you of this and that. I'm not judging, but end of the day? They're just not like us. They just don't share our values.

These “impeach the mother****er” and AOC dancing controversies are the most distilled examples of what is wrong with American media I’ve seen in some time.

I must have seen both more than 100 times across every major news outlet I follow.

So far every Sunday show has had a segment on them.

Nice. I’d be fine with 5b for such a mini wall and public reveal.

Mulvaney claiming Trump has compromised now by moving from wanting a concrete wall to metal fencing is lol ridiculous.

https://thehill.com/policy/finance/4...mpression=true

Mulvaney acts like this is a brand new shift by Trump in the spirit of compromise and not the same dumb nonsense he was talking about pre shutdown.
