Is Tiger full on MAGAtard deplorable?

My impression was that he is mostly indifferent, but he won't criticize him and will golf with him as plenty of rich old white golf-playing dudes buy Nike/Tiger stuff.

Now, that's still deplorable, but it's definitely a level under kool-aid drinking Trumpstan*. And Tiger could be one of those. I just don't remember hearing about it.

My point was the opposite. He is a casual acquaintance of Trumps who plays with him out of respect for the office. They are not good friends.

I think the simplest explanation is that Trump is just super into golf and Tiger is the man of the hour in the golf world. Black athletes have always been a key part of the civil rights movement and I think that's because white people find it easy to momentarily overlook race when someone is tearing it up at sportsball. It's like one kind of tribalism is overriding another when casually racist guys in Brooklyn see Jackie Robinson step up to the plate.

Michael Jordan's approach was always don't rock the boat on racial issues and cash in on Nike endorsements. As a white dude I feel very reluctant to pass judgement here.
