Why don't they increase army pay to something reasonable? Like $50-60k minimum. People always talk about supporting the troops, but the pay is **** and the VA is a mess. I guess you get free university tuition in the GI bill so maybe it works out but money talks and bull**** walks so pay people a good salary for work that they literally put their lives on the line for. Don't say "Thank you for your service" give them a damn good paycheck.

People are cheap, hardware is expensive. There is no profit in paying soldiers more, there is lots of profit in charging more for hardware.
