The Presidency of Donald J. Trump: Harm to Ongoing Matter The Presidency of Donald J. Trump: Harm to Ongoing Matter

If only Trump's personal pilot had become the head of the FAA.

Is longing for "the good old days" a basic human trait? I think people want things to stay the same / go back to the way they were because they're afraid of their own mortality and the fleeting nature of human life. I mean, in addition to racism.

Has nobody told him about John Wayne and the effort to rename the Orange County airport? He's gonna **** a brick.

They long for the good old days because their lives are ****ing **** now and in the past they weren't.

The good old days weren't objectively good. But they were good to old ****s who couldn't keep up with the times.

The idea that late night shows were apolitical before Trump was President is so pants-****tingly idiotic, especially since the instigator of this nonsense is Jay ****ing Leno who must have made 7,000 Clinton blowjob jokes.

There's been a steady increase in the amount of agit-prop intended for mainstream consumption. It's all over local news now which is where a lot of olds get their info.

It's definitely somebody trying to imitate Trump's writing style. Difference is that the imitator is trying to do so while not coming off as a complete buffoon which makes it obvious that it isn't Trump himself.

Olds have been complaining since forever. What does seem new, obviously due to the internet, is the proliferation of idiotic, super racist and mysoginistic young adult white males.

What I'm doing is EXPRESSLY authorized by Congress but Congress also better not vote to smack down that authorization or I'll veto them.

Of course we are. And we deserve it.

Why should other nations trust us? They basically gave us a mulligan on Bush 43, and then we elected Trump.

Even if we elect the most super awesome president in 2020, we have shown we can't be trusted. What might we do in 2024 or 2028?

Electing this ****up is going to take DECADES to repair.

That was my first thought on that-- they don't trust us, and they're right not to.

Trump speaking now, lying like a rug. Even repeating the one where he predicted Brexit at Turnberry. He remembers that great moment that didn't happen so well!

Trump is ****ing us more than Putin could've ever dreamed he would.

So the game plan for the GOP:

1. Trump vetoes this attempt to block his emergency declaration.

2. Congress fails to override, kicking it to the courts to decide.

3. Congress passes a bill with bipartisan support to block future emergency declarations like this, and Trump signs it.

Result: Trump has significant non-zero equity on getting away with his border emergency, Dems have zero shot at a gun control, climate change or healthcare emergency in the future.

GJGE Dems forever and ever.

The USMCA isn't even in place.

It's gonna be so much fun when Pelosi shoots USMCA down.

21 million a job, not to shabby...
