Anyone know what's up with Dvaut1? Haven't seen him post in a while, and feeling fairly disoriented as a result. Pretty sure he said NOT to waste my time watching Fox News for the "shock" value, but I could use a reminder.

No matter what happens, Corsi is going down imo. His lawyer is a certifiable crackpot and I don't think Trump cares enough to bother pardoning him. Corsi's only play is to rat out Roger Stone as hard as possible.

Dvaut is known for taking long sabbaticals, especially when politics gets depressing. I'm more worried about zikzak and simplicitus.

I didn’t say trump did it. His staff did because they wanted trump occupied when the hearing happened which is exactly how it played out. And I did not even say it happened, I supposed it. Nothing anyone here has said has changed that because it directly took trump out of minute for minute tweeting about the hearing for days.

Some of you need to verse yourself on the White House, state department and nsc. You guys act like stuff is done with typical norms. Plus you seriously underestimate how much information is available behind the scenes. Wh6 you guys think the first time anything is announced is when it was first discussed is beyond me.

There was no long term plan or reason for a second summit. It was done to wash trumps balls. All I suggested is a trump’s staff could have conveniently scheduled it at the same time as the hearing. Yet some of you act like that is the craziest thing that ever happened like you just woke up from a four year coma. The lot of you snap out of it.

Put it this way. Anyone who would be surprised to have it revealed in a year that is what happened lol them.

If something happened to me, I highly doubt anyone in my family would think to post something here. They vaguely know of 2p2 as a poker site, and that I discuss politics online, but they don't know my screen name. My guess would be that a poker friend might post in my PG&C about it.

Morbid to think about, though. Hopefully simplicitus is fine. I know I've been posting less lately and just reading threads late at night to catch up on the news.

I've been busy, and also find the extremity of what's going on as it escalates to be very scary. I'm not sure there is much value in exploring my thoughts on it in depth, or bringing others down, but I am increasingly coming to see Trump as untouchable and as drawing much more live at a second term (and beyond) than I expected.

I had the TV on in the background and it was on "The Clinton Affair." It is was good reminder of how much Bill Clinton's moral compass was off too. Trump is a scumbag, and so was Bill Clinton. It is amazing watching the GOP cover for, turn a blind eye, or apologize for Trump, but damn Dems back then did it for Bill Clinton.

I hope history gives Obama his place among the top tier presidents. Given the GOP's party of no tactic against him there was only so much he could get done in office. But not being a self-serving, money grabbing, pussy hound needs to start being recognized as what we want in a leader.

havent seen it mentioned here but npr has been talking about it a lot. administration is booting out vietnames refuges that have been here for decades. refuges from the war ~50 years ago. so these are ppl that have non violent offenses and served their time in jail or otherwise many years ago but now are going to be sent back.
