So their parents’ employees bought off of them to curry favor with their parents, but they thought it was their wile or charm.

A lesson they use today with foreign governments buying rooms at their DC hotel or granting patents or even bribes to curry favor with the president.

Popehat is usually very quick to explain why these type of things aren't technically illegal, or can't/won't be prosecuted. That he says Gaetz will have to lawyer up over this tweet, means he's at real risk.
