It’s a better option than not feeding their citizens and asking for nothing in return though.

don't worry, trump will give it away in return for a nonbinding resolution to think about continuing to talk about complete bilateral denuclearization of the united states and north korea

In Trump's case, it means he could afford Florida sunshine and golf so he doesn't have to stay at home/local bar to watch TV.

You definitely should avoid hostage negotiator as a career.

I don’t want North Koreans to starve either but that’s totally on their government who has been stealing resources.

Even if we wanted to we could not magically properly feed North Koreans because the government would just take and keep any aid. In order to get them not to do that you would need to likely concede almost everything.

When it comes to North Korean citizens there is no great path for them at the moment.

The Arab Spring began as a protest to oppressive governments and a low standard of living. Even something like the price of wheat tripling can have serious domino effects.

umm....wtf

What am I missing?

Marco Rubio apparently celebrating or threatening the brutal downfall, torture, and murder of Qaddafi, presumably directed at Maduro.

I mean, it's not every day that a US senator tweets an image of a head of state being dragged through the streets and butchered. It's not unreasonable to assume that he's hinting at some sort of threat to Maduro, but even if he's just tweeting it for lols it's kind of uncomfortable.

US senator posting a picture of a dude being sodomized by a bayonet as a threat......

Totes cool and normal
02-24-2019 , 06:27 PM
If I've completely misunderstood the context and Rubio is actually directing this tweet at Trump, then please consider my disapproval revoked btw

The strange tale of how Trump made a "fortune" off Qaddafi
"Don't forget. I'm the only one -- I made a lot of money with Qaddafi, if you remember," Trump told "Face the Nation" host John Dickerson in an interview that aired Sunday. "He came to the country and he had to make a deal with me because he needed a place to stay."

That sounds like the real estate version of selling him a bomb casing full of pinball machine parts.
