Yes but how many women did you pass on the street with their mouths taped up?

I know this was posted already, but jeebus the Gallup approval poll went up a lot. Last one was almost record low and this one is almost record high.

Time to bump the "when is it time to gtfo?" thread.

What's in the video for those of us at work and w/o audio (the pinned tweet vid)?

Pieces of Trump's SOTU speech with video of unhappy Democrat reactions, with REM's "Everybody Hurts" playing in the background.

Perfectly sums up today's Republican party. Libtard tears and - after that - we got nothing.

Michael Stipe is an OG lefty so I'm pretty sure he's not happy. Can he take some legal action? Didn't Trump already get in trouble for inexplicably using The End of the World as We Know It on the campaign trail?
02-15-2019 , 04:27 PM
This isn't the first time. REM is one of the bands who yelled at Trump for using their music on the campaign trail.

They should be able to issue a DMCA takedown on the tweet.

Its possible it falls under fair use. Is it being used for any commercial reason?

Damn this sounds awesome. Would happily trade some wall funding for all three of these.

This tweet will be good for a laugh when he doesn't vote to revoke the emergency.

Amazing that the Republican senators' only argument for being against the national emergency is not that it's a blatant disregard of the constitution, but that they are afraid that Democrats will do it too.

I don't know much about this world but I do know one thing: No one who spells his name "T-H-O-M" is remotely trustworthy

Are there any other famous Thoms besides Thom Yorke?

It's possible although I'll leave that to the actual lawyers here but videos of songs get pulled from YouTube all the time, even when the uploader doesn't have ads or anything that would let them make money from it. I'm not sure sprinkling in a few bits of Trump talking changes things.

I recently put a video of my 13 year-old daughter's band playing "Sweet Child O Mine" on Vimeo so I could send it to my dad and it got taken down because of a DMCA claim filed by UPMG. You're not allowed to do it at all, it really just depends on whether the owner of the rights wants it taken down.
