The percentage of people even paying attention is probably (like our president, pulling numbers out of my ass) maybe 30%. Probably split those 15% a side red and blue. For most people, this is all just a pile of bad noise that doesn't affect their lives in any sort of meaningful way.

Not saying that is how it should be, but that's how it is. I mean, 40% of the population didn't even vote in 2016.

• He claimed to be ready last October to eliminate the fundamental principle of birthright citizenship via executive order. Hasn’t happened.

• He spontaneously announced in December that U.S. troops would be leaving Syria in such a way that could have exposed our allies in the region to being massacred, but it hasn’t happened yet.

• Earlier this year he said he was willing to shut the government down for “years” to get the wall built, but gave up after a month.

So, I guess, thank God he's a lazy, addled POS and that someone (pretty much anyone) with a speck of ambition or political ability could have done a lot more damage.
