Not once it's passed, and it would be horrible strategy anyway - it would look petty and reactive.

The House will almost certainly pass a resolution to block the emergency declaration, which the Senate will have to vote on within like 2.5 weeks. McConnell will try to whip the votes, and we'll see if he holds his caucus together. He obviously thinks he can.

The National Emergencies Act also gives Congress the power to nullify presidential emergency declarations, with Congress under Democrat control, and even some Republican senators voicing opposition to a national emergency, a resolution to terminate could conceivably pass.

I'm not a constitutional expert or anything but I'm pretty sure that using the 25th amendment of the Constitution is not unconstitutional.

I feel dumb asking but does Coulter have any basis for this landmine theory of the budget deal? I mean I know Trump was supposedly wary of potential landmines and it would be great if true, but I assumed it was just paranoid fantasy.
