Even much more recently than that lots of people who had a drop of Native American blood partly identified with that. She didn't seem to use it for her advantage in applications, but just as part of her identity.

It won't affect whether I vote for her in the primaries and certainly not in the general.

trump is probably 4% iranian or north african but the difference is he's ashamed of it. he wouldn't ever claim to be anything other than 100% white and it boggles his mind that someone would, and it probably boggles like 60 million americans' minds who will vote for him and wear feather headdresses to rallies all next year

i hadn't even seen the 1986 bar registration card before.. seems like a really dumb gotcha libs thing.

also it's been scientifically proven to not be a lie. the president of the cherokee nation (only at most 1/32) that was soo upset is basically one step "more" native than warren's test showed she could be.. (which is probably why he had to go so crazy about it)
