No politician will ever match your worldview exactly nor will any ever be purely progressive.

I definitely don't think he does hard core family separation or Kavanaugh. Trumps affinity for Kav was very specific. If Jeb even nominates Kav in the first place, I could see him just withdrawing him and putting up another Gorsuch type.

He also doesn't go crazy on NATO, meet with Kim, or call out the federal reserve. There are probably quite a few other examples.

I think the differences would be a lot more than just demeanor.

No. They're just aholes. But they're both on the right side for the right reasons. And they're from like OH and NC and were probably born into Republican places. Rep talks about his family plenty.

I honestly don’t think I do. Trumpism has little to nothing to do with policy. Look at the hundreds of things that used to be hardcore GOP policy they have instantly abondoned due to Trumpism (e.g., russia and free trade).

Trumpism is about gaslighting, lying, personal attacks, shouting, anti-intellectualism, content-free arguments and a world where we all get our own facts.
