I get emails from trump somehow and he’s been begging for donations the last several days. I honestly don’t understand how this is allowed to go on. A sitting US president soliciting money, it’s absurd. Especially when we know he’s abused his campaign money in the past.

I know it’s grifting I just legitimately don’t understand how this isn’t running afoul of the law. It’s almost like the RUSHER investigations are a huge smokescreen for his thousands of smaller, pettier grifts. Is there even one meaningful investigation to him violating the emoluments clause?
