I get the sense that Mueller is very into the rule of law but also very into his party. I always had a suspicion that he'll do a very thorough investigation and then find some weird vague reason to have the really damning stuff (including anything directly related to Trump) sealed for decades until everyone involved is dead, and we all just seethe about it as we finally get to read it in the nursing home or something.

Maybe, but she never had a proper heel opposite her to get over with the masses.

Obama people loved her. She got Obamacare through.

Right hated on her (because she was effective) and spineless Ds distanced themselves to appear centrist.

Corsi takes an 8 second slug off a previously-hidden bottle of Cutty Sark, announces lawsuit against the founding fathers. Caputo takes a 2 second cell call, bolts from the studio wearing no pants, was "Porky Pigging" the interview. Nunberg finds the hot camera and earnestly announces the revival of Fyre Festival.

Nah, Muller seems genuinely concerned about the institution and what he leaves behind. I don’t see him covering **** up just to help a party that isn’t really going out of its way to help him.

OTOH, I do agree that hoping Muller swoops in and saves America is not a good bet.

Pelosi 2020!
**** Sean Spicer always and forever.
Ring of fire keeps safety higher.

The universal laws of physics prevent a determination of real versus onion.

We've got a good group here with a ton of intelligent minds, so it's a great place to learn more about politics.
Thank you for the detailed answer.
I'm not a newcomer, I've been reading this thread from the start (thread 1).
I'm not from USA so some laws and government mechanics are unknown to me.
It's actually crazy how much time I've spent reading this forum while I rarely bothered reading any news prior to the 2016 elections.
So I kinda played catch up last 2 years with politics and gathered a pretty unusual amount of knowledge of american political scene and laws for a rando like me.

Wasn't there a story that they couldn't figure out how to work the lights in some wing of the White House?

I don't mind that, champstark. She's trying to sharpen the contradictions, if you will. Republicans can't "take back the party", it's wholly the party of Trump. What she's saying is "give the middle finger to all the hogs who vote for your party".

This tweet is pretty mundane, but a live feed of Ashley Feinberg's phone would be fascinating, can't imagine the average number of notifications she gets. She's doing the Lord's work curating the best of right-wing grifters and Don Jr's Instagram feed

No parties would be best. More than 2 would be better than 2. One party is the worst. The GOP needs to be broken and remade, but the Dems being the only party in the country wouldn't be good and it wouldn't magically turn everyone into a liberal.

This is a good callback to ancient history, like 1 month ago:

Not so long in between Trump going "if Nancy needs help winning her speaker election, I'm sure we can get some GOP votes for her!" and Nancy just owning him repeatedly and leaving the "toxic unpopular Nancy" meme in the dust
