The Posse Comitatus Act is an act that prohibits the federal government from using the armed forces as a posse comitatus for law enforcement, except in cases and circumstances expressly authorized by the Constitution or Act of Congress.

So probably not, as the building of the wall by the military would certainly seem to fall under a law enforcement capacity (I know that the idiot Trumpkins wouldn't agree, but as usual, they're wrong)

Assuming that the House does its ****ing job starting Thursday, Donald is going to be a VERY unhappy panda this year.

Since when did the Trump administration suddenly concern themselves with following the law? They can break any law they want as long as congress or the DoJ doesn't enforce it.

Dems winning the house probably ends up being a good thing for trump. Now he doesn't actually have to get anything done (which he is really bad at doing) and he can go back to blaming the Dems for everything, which is the only thing he is good at doing.

Except he’s not really good at it though. Midterm was a mandate at exactly how bad he is at it in fact

Champagne Sharks has an excellent episode on race in Brazil and how it differs from race in the US. Worth a listen.

Trump just throwing anything and everything, including complete made up bull****, at the wall, hoping something sticks and helps him. Or atleast distracts from what a disaster his presidency is.

Mitt Romney: The president shapes the public character of the nation. Trump’s character falls short.
The Trump presidency made a deep descent in December. The departures of Defense Secretary Jim Mattis and White House Chief of Staff John F. Kelly, the appointment of senior persons of lesser experience, the abandonment of allies who fight beside us, and the president’s thoughtless claim that America has long been a “sucker” in world affairs all defined his presidency down.

It is well known that Donald Trump was not my choice for the Republican presidential nomination. After he became the nominee, I hoped his campaign would refrain from resentment and name-calling. It did not. When he won the election, I hoped he would rise to the occasion. His early appointments of Rex Tillerson, Jeff Sessions, Nikki Haley, Gary Cohn, H.R. McMaster, Kelly and Mattis were encouraging. But, on balance, his conduct over the past two years, particularly his actions this month, is evidence that the president has not risen to the mantle of the office.

Mittens seems concerned, I'm sure he'll stand up to Trump all the time

So Romney will be Flake 2.0 or will he actually stand up to Trump?
