Obligatory:

The WH domestic staff may be furloughed, but it's not like the President owns an award-winning, world-class hotel just blocks away.

"Yes dear, when you're 18 you can do whatever you want. Now eat your vegetables".

Also I can't believe you people who thought everything would be cold. Trump made a deal with a heat lamp, people are saying one of the greatest deals ever made by a President. The crispiness is coming back, folks! Look at these toasty McDonalds fries sitting snugly in their Great Seal of the President of the United States cups.

LOL THE GOD DAMN PRESIDENTIAL SEAL IS ON THE FRY CUPS OMGZZZZZZ

I felt bad about it trying it just once and it will never happen again, even if I hadn't gotten the squirts.

If I had to perfectly align my political opinions with owners of the places I buy food from, I would starve to death.

And of course SHS goes into full spin mode. lol "joints"

Abe wept.

Chick-Fil-A has made its way to Ohio, FWIW.

I see what you're trying to do here, but man, there's a big gulf between "My politics don't happen to perfectly align with the owners of this establishment" and "This burger joint peddles in rank homophobia and there's another fast food option two blocks away." I get it, I really do: politicizing lunchtime is annoying. But really, **** these guys sideways and go spend your money more responsibly. It's literally the least you can do.

In most cases you would never know anyway, but when a company makes a public matter of it? I mean it just doesn't seem right to support that **** (hence my feeling bad about being weak and trying it just once) but to each his own I suppose.

Of course I also feel bad about posting here and supporting this forum so...

I had it bought for me a few times by coworkers and instead of burning it or shooting it on a YouTube video I ate it. It was top of the ****ing heap as far as fast food breakfast and lunch. Won’t give my money to them purposefully, however. Like zikzak says, you can only go down that path so far before you reach the obvious conclusion which is always, literally always, burn this ****ing system to the ground, but to l_a_y’s point, when they make bigotry a point of pride it’s an easy line to draw.

Nice thread of people insisting everyone else is racist and also think that a team with mostly black athletes should've instead been served chicken sandwiches.

As I read through the thread, it didn’t occur to me about your racism take, just that Chick-fil-A is obviously the best fast food there is

I'm legit still laughing at the President of the United States serving McDonald's and Domino's to his guests

It’s been in Minnesota for over five years now.

So good.

Me too. I started giggling all over again at the Empire tweet. That photo is like something out of a Gilliam film.

Everything at the While House has the seal. I still have golf balls with the presidential seal from when my brother was an intern back in the day.

Wonder how many McNuggets Clemson could eat in one WH visit?

Never understood why everyone goes nuts over Chik-fil-A. It's perfectly fine, but nothing special. It's like In-N-Out. Both are at the top of the overrated fast food mountain
01-15-2019 , 02:51 AM
Idk about time travelers but the astronomy dept head at Harvard says that rock that went by last month could've been a spaceship. Maybe they would've stuck around if they thought Trump would spring for some Chick-fil-A.

If by now you mean close to ten years yeah.

Never had CFA, had In-N-Out when I was in Vegas. A couple of the friends I was with were super excited to go to it, they'd like read a book or seen a documentary about it or something? So I was expecting at least like, Johnny Rocket's level food, not basically McDonald's.

The experience may have been slightly marred when the girl serving me put an empty paper cup out in front of me after I paid and I, gaslit by America's unfathomable tipping culture, tossed a dollar bill into it. But still.

To each his own, but not wanting to support CFA because of their views on LGBQTIA people is like the first "step" down that path. It's not like he had to read quarterly earnings statements and hire PIs to find out where they are spending their money to know these things.

CFA: very good ff, clean and well run, employee happiness is fake imo, homophobes

In-n-Out: pretty good ff, clean, employees genuinely seem happy, good prices, also very conservative owners I think but maybe not religious nutters.
