The Presidency of Donald J. Trump: Harm to Ongoing Matter The Presidency of Donald J. Trump: Harm to Ongoing Matter

This is a credible reporter with some interesting thoughts about the NYT story. Thing is, Trump needs at least the acquisience of the 2/3 of Americans who don't follow politics to be remotely viable. I suspect the shutdown has wounded him and will continue to do so, and this latest revelation is going to move more senate members against him.

And what's up with the lifting of sanctions against Deripaska that *Mnuchin stonewalled the House about this week? I'm not saying it's curtains for Trump, but I think the band is warming up.

I wouldn't give any wall money for Garland to take RBG's seat however. I might be in the minority there it looks like. I just don't think we get much out of that. She's going to make it to 2020 and retire.

Isn't it crazy that so much **** has went down with the russians that everyone who's skeptical or defending Trump are now literally using russians as "LOL YOURE STILL TALKING ABOUT RUSSIANS?! ALWAYS RUSSIANS HIDING EVERYWHERE?! LIBTARDS RUSSIA PHOBIA " as if any of this was resolved

Hoarse Whisperer is realer than Real Deal Holyfield, it's right from the hoarse's mouth, so to speak. No clue if any of this **** matters, tho.

It is going to be hyped like the Super Bowl of politics. MSNBC was making the John Dean comparison immediately.

Yes to all of this, except let's say RBG makes it till 2021, and make it a $15 minimum wage I hope her health care proxy says keep alive until a Democrat is President with a Democratic Senate.

A lot of this news was **** we knew about awhile ago or "hey the authorities finally got around to figuring out **** you all knew about years ago".

That's the other problem, it'll be built up as the super bowl, nothing new will actually get announced (or maybe one new character.

Also, the Russians seem to know what our gov is doing before we are, a few of them are literally tweeting it out days before it gets reported here.

In possibly future bad news--one of them was tweeting about RBG today. Came off as a threat.

A. No professional assassin issues threats beforehand.
B. No one assassinates a 300-year-old woman with terminal cancer.

Obviously this is just a hypothetical exercise, but if you could choose, you don't ask for Garland. Sure he got ****ed, but he was Obama's compromise candidate and he's old.

There have to be lots of better picks who are 10+ yrs younger.

RBG stuff is concerning. I've seen some news articles saying the White House is discussing her health. I also went out to dinner in DC earlier this week and got seated next to a table of Republican congresspeople discussing her. It could all be wishcasting based on the same information we have though.

Maddow had a thoracic surgeon on last night who said the operation was pretty standard, the type of cancer nonaggressive, and that she would be in the hospital and not back at home if there were any concerns. He said he had done the same surgery on a 105-year-old woman.

Chiefsplanet has 2 RBG threads. They're salivating.

They'd totally do A because nobody is gonna do **** about it--but I didn't mean threat like they would do anything, threat as in, the threat she's worse than reported. My error in communication obviously.

I only saw the tease before the commercial, not the actual interview, but it seems odd and slightly irresponsible to have someone on speculating about someone’s health who isn’t treating RBG. Sure, he may know what happens in the preponderance of cases, but he has no idea what her status is.

The good news is RBG only has to make it 354 more days, because Leader Turtle would never take up a SCOTUS nomination in an election year, amirite?!?
