Mitch won’t take up the Net Neutrality bill just passed in the house and trump said he’d veto it anyway.

Gonna need to control both chambers and presidency to protect the internet.

We really need 5g because it's so much better than 4g. It's a whole extra g. You know we had 3g then we got 4g and now we are getting 5g and then pretty soon we'll have 6g. Who know how many gs we'll have some day.

I showed my 10-year old kid that Politico article 15 minutes ago. He's still going off on how stupid Trump is.

this wireless industry announcement.. 3 million jobs.. does the wireless industry even currently have 3million jobs? like i know nothing matters, but he also pumps these job numbers that are bigger than the entire industry currently employs, just like the shady saudi arms deals that everyone has already forgotten about.

eta- verizon and att combine for like 350k-400k i think. and i believe thats total employment, not just wireless.

Dems should be using targeted Internet advertising to fire off ads about Net Neutrality to everyone who will be 18-30 in 2020, and then geographically targeting it around registration deadlines. They could do the same thing with weed, free college tuition, etc... There are certain issues that motivate younger voters very easily, and targeted Internet advertising is the best way to use them. If they started talking about net neutrality on the campaign trail, eyes would glaze over for like 75-85% of voters.

Sigh. I just watched episode of Adam Ruins Everything from 2015 that was saying how awesome NN is. How far we've fallen in just 4 short years. Our internet is already garbage compared to everywhere else to boot anyway.

Actually you Presidency, House, and 60 votes in the Senate.

I know about growing a city and creating opportunities for long-time residents and newcomers alike...

I know that immigrants make our communities safer, immigrants make our communities stronger, and immigrants add to the fabric of our communities and cultures. They can make the day-to-day experience of living life richer and more fulfilling, and we can do the same for them.

Just as importantly, they're hard workers, determined to build their American Dreams from the ground up... So when this president says he wants to 'dump' immigrants in liberal cities to punish them? Well this mayor would say, 'Thank you, Mr. President... This is a blessing for our city!' And to the immigrants, 'Welcome to America! I just know you're going to live it here...' Or, 'Bienvinidos a los Estados Unidos,' or... (proceed to rattle off some of his many languages).

Because it's not a liberal or a conservative idea to welcome immigrants, it's an American idea... So if the president thinks he's going to "punish" us with immigrants, he's got another think coming, because we will proudly take in the tired and the poor... While they may be his wretched refuse... they're our huddled masses yearning to breathe free!"
These words should not be languishing one one website, as great as it is. With slight alterations (ie South Bend etc.) it should be sent to every candidate and every major newspaper. Lets put cuserounder and twoplustwo.com on the map once and for all. Do it now.

To take this a step further:

Democrats need to get initiatives added to the 2020 ballot in swing states that young voters care about. Add marijuana legislation, student debt forgiveness, whatever - the key is getting an extra 10-15% motivated enough to show up and cast their vote.

This done in specific purple states or counties can make a big difference - the Democrats had better be doing the work to get as many of these going as possible.

I guess you could say that he was just joking, and maybe he was, but the other time he pardoned a guilty Republican politico for breaking the law in being harsh to minorities might make you think he's not. Also telling the guy's subordinates to break the law might be a clue that he's doing the schrodinger's joke thing.

Good idea

Now I’m thinking about starting a PAC to do just this

Untethered trump gonna find people to break laws for him, especially dangling pardons everywhere for helping him

If he offers them up front then it’s not obstruction!

Trump is making some kind of wireless technology announcement? Did we ever get actual 4G and not just the light version? Isn't 5G going to be introduced with similar marketing BS? Quick, somebody tell Trump we already have almost 10 g.

Yeah, what about skipping the middle man and running for office, Cuse? Don't know if you can speak as well as you write but I seem to recall you saying you were considering a broadcast career.
