Oh he 100% cheated/bought his way in.

You post a graph that shows the average GPA is 2.5 back when Trump went to school.

If you think morons cannot attain average GPAs then you need to take a break from posting and read books. You're the one with #feelings itt.

Quit posting the same thing over and over...
There are literally no words for this post. Rotfl.

You post a graph that doesn't even dispel the notion morons can attain average grades. The same graph is about grade inflation. Like my dude, I'm putting you in the same intelligence range of Trump with that.

what was the BS economics curriculum like in 1966? gotta be super easy, right?
03-07-2019 , 10:55 PM
There is definitely some bias itf from skilled, high IQ poker players reflecting on the "ease" of college classes. Also maybe some of you went to soft schools or had dumb majors. I fail a whole lot of students in my math classes, and I am not abnormal in this regard. 2.5 is probably about average GPA for my school and many others. I would assume Trump was well below average at Wharton. Don't really know too much about Fordham, but he is quite dumb and lazy, so wouldn't be surprised if he was below average there as well.

Take it to the DMs, maybe.

Easier than it is today. You have a ton more math in economics now.

That’s not the right question. As the data I posted shows it’s easier to get a 2.5 today than it was in the 60s.

yeah alright that sounds reasonable, but i just ask because i don't know how to compare it to easier majors that dumber kids take

Economics seems to have among the lower gpa averages.

wow what do half of bio sci grads do with a gpa too low for grad school
03-07-2019 , 11:10 PM
I'm one of those low GPA guys since I pretty much just played poker the whole time since it was during the boom period. At least I ended up finishing the math degree and didn't flunk despite ATC's best efforts.

If I was smart I would've dropped out entirely, live and learn.

Remember that’s average, not median.

And you have biases as a math teacher.

It a common thing for math being the hardest subject for a lot of students. My poli sci classes and general ed classes were enough a joke that I pretty much was able to get As (few Bs) without going to class after roles stopped being taken for financial aid purposes.

On a scale of 1 to 10, how bad is this derail?
03-07-2019 , 11:22 PM
Scale of 1-10? About 5x trump’s expected college gpa

A sitting president cannot be indicted according to most interpretations of the law, which is basically why nothing matters. In a universe where Dems have a super-majority in Congress and could impeach him, it would matters a lot.

You are failing to grasp how stupid trump is

When you add to that he thinks he’s amazing AND he doesn’t read ever

You are wrong on this one

It's worse than the sad one about pets, but better than the travel blog.

No, I'm not.

Being dumb and not reading doesn't preclude someone from being able to get average grades. You're failing to grasp that college grades have never really been about intelligence, but more about how well you memorize material, and usually you can do that without attending classes regularly.

Quit saying people are wrong because you want to call Trump dumb (which isn't even what I disputed). It's tacky posting. Especially when Clovis cannot grasp why a graph on grade inflation doesn't say 2.5gpas were easier to get back in the day.

It's because of a memo some DOJ dude wrote back in the early 70s when they were trying to get rid of Spiro Agnew. That's it. No court has ruled one way or the other and there are plenty of legal braniacs out there who think it's bull****.

I mean can a sitting President rape a baby and it's fine because sitting President? No serious person can believe such a thing.
03-08-2019 , 12:17 AM
If Trump really got a 1.3 it's more likely he got it from never doing any class work and just hoping the college would give him a degree for like $2 million despite barely ever going to class or attempting an assignment. There's a small chance he got a 1.3 because he has the intelligence of a 12 year old, but less likely imo.

How do you suppose someone who doesn't attend classes and doesn't read would see the material in order to memorize it?
