Yeah it’s very diabolical fictional President activity so the average person will default to having seen it in a fictional movie or tv show and shrug. Although it is clearly inappropriate and potentially unconstitutional.

Cohen's testimony was originally planned for early February and the decision to delay was made not far in advance of that date. What you're saying is you suspect the Trump administration could coordinate with North Korea and get them to agree to meet with only a few weeks advance notice. But even if you're prone to believing stupid conspiracy theories like that you could actually check the timeline and learn that the summit was planned at least by Jan 18 and the Cohen testimony was planned for Feb 7 as late as Jan 24. Try that next time before posting your feelings which have no basis in reality.

Melania to visit Tulsa, Oklahoma school today for her bebest agenda.

tulsa schools are closed because of negative windchill temps. they are making sure the school she is going to visit stayed open, forcing, dare i say "bullying" kids to come to school in negative windchill temps at only one school to hear about how melania says you shouldn't do the stuff her husband does everyday..

It's such a stacked deck when one side actively buries stories while the trumpets even non-stories like Hillary's emails.

Lol u. Thinking 6 days difference based on publically available information versus privately learned information. No chance anyone knew 6 days early what might be scheduled.

There was no anticipation or expectation of another Summit. Two to three weeks is hastily scheduled.

Don’t be so naive.

Al Franken wrote about how the Rs "love" of country was like a child's love of its mother--she is perfect and you can't say anything against her. While the Ds have a more adult view and can see the flaws in their spouses like their country. I am reminded of that whenever we get a picture of Trump's "O face" while humping a flag.

Hope things are picking up for you as time works it's magic. Losing my dog over the holidays was brutal, I'm still not fully recovered. Haven't felt grief so pronounced since losing my mother over 20 years ago. Losing the dog was almost as difficult as losing an immediate family member, and I still blame tRump. That slob killed my dog.

One bright thing in your situation is that you weren't married and won't have to go through the financial pain divorce brings.

How did the left get so goddamn gullible? It's always been ethnic tribalism disguised as patriotism but the West Wing crowd pretends it's some sort of childlike love of country. Like these guys aren't bad people, they're just too sweet and naive in the way they love America.

Meanwhile, these fascist dip****s are a-okay with ****ting on non-white veterans, letting Putin disrupt elections, telling their fellow citizens in Puerto Rico to **** off and die, etc. etc. All the Republicans have to do is obsess over the national anthem at sportsball games and occasionally dry-hump a flag and the center-left automatically credits them with acting in good faith.

That smirk on Trump's face? That's him knowing full well the flag-humping is a farce, and moreover he knows his audience is mostly in on the gag as well. The only people who don't get it are the Dems.
03-04-2019 , 02:43 PM
Exactly. They were pretty quick to spend 8 years ****ting on america when a black man got into power.

Why is it a big deal that the anti-emergency resolution will pass in the senate? You see in the media that there's a "GOP rebellion" and shock that Trump will have to use his first veto.

Trump declared the emergency and will veto the resolution and there won't be enough votes to override it. They found 4 republicans to vote against it. Whoop de doo. Is it the media trying to make a mountain out of a molehill?
03-04-2019 , 03:14 PM
Well, the hope is that this is how stuff starts - when Nixon started sliding downhill, initially only a few Repubs voted against him on stuff - couple weeks later a few more, then a few more, and he's on a helicopter waving goodbye. We can hope.
