Honestly lemonade stands in suburban neighborhoods are basically begging neighbors and friends for money. It's basically another manufactured reason for kids to interact with neighbors and generate community ties. Selling the stuff to the help (housekeepers, drivers, and so on) is pretty common even in more modest (think upper middle class) neighborhoods.

But 100% lol at selling it as business acumen. If you were really trying to run it as a business, at least ask them to drive you somewhere else to set up a lemonade stand where you'll see people not on your father's payroll.
