The dumbest part was that they were expected to get massive donations from famous friends and if they didn't, Trump told them they sucked and/or fired them. Yes, because that shows who's good at business. Then it became a strategic thing where contestants would hold off on calling in their big guns in case they were the manager on a similar task.
